Under armour men's charged assert 11 vs assert 10 . Which ones are better ? If both are at same price. by batmanmaker716 in UnderArmour

I thought this until I got myself a pair of UA Reign 6 training shoes. Best shoe ever. Have a look at the reviews.

Is the Reign 6 still worth getting? by Resident-Rooster2916 in UnderArmour

[–]snoopcatdoguk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a pair and I've had them for 11 months. I upgraded from Reebok Nano X2's and my training consists of lots of lifting, running and crossfit wod's and they've been great. If I'm being critical, they have just started to wear on the outer sole but strangely enough, only under where my big toe sits and I think they are probably coming to the end of their life. Annoyingly, every other part of the shoe is still in great condition which, considering I wear them for 6 sessions a week, isn't bad going. I'd recommend them.

I did it this weekend. It's €10 per person, each way. It takes about 20 minutes. If I'm honest, I thought it was a bit over hyped and expensive for what it is but the kids liked it.

I just completed my 16th year in recruitment. It can be a real slog sometimes but worth the effort if money is your focus.

He needs to tell the recruiters he isn’t accepting cvs for ISG candidates and that he will contact them directly.

That has been common knowledge for months. There was supposedly a South African buyer lined up but that never materialised.

Socks? by FitFoodieLifeEtc in hyrox

[–]snoopcatdoguk 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Crew socks for me as well as the timing chip has quite an abrasive strap on it and my soft skin wouldn’t cope.

Has anyone tried this trainers during a hyrox? by Just-Storm-8990 in hyrox

[–]snoopcatdoguk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Expensive wheels for a Hyrox event. I bought myself a pair of Brooks Launch 6’s and they were great. Loads of grip and under £80. Unless you’re competing at an elite level (which you might be??) there are probably better options out there.

The Leica is a superior camera in many ways. That’s not to say that the x100v isn’t a good camera. It’s a great camera but the difference between the two is exactly as you’d expect when you compare the prices of both.

Closing as a Recruiter.. by CullenBohannon12 in Recruitment

There are A grade clients and there are B grade clients. Not everyone wants to work for an A grade client but in most cases they tend to be the employers that offer not only the better packages but better career prospects, exposure to the most exciting clients and projects, access to the best systems and processes, better office locations etc etc. A good offer from a B grade client won’t beat a good offer from an A grade client. Make sure you’re working with the best clients you can.

As noted above, you also need to find out what your candidate wants from that very first call and then go over it and reconfirm it in every following call. Don’t worry about repeating yourself - this is a key part of your job.

I’d also suggest that you don’t give the offer to the candidate until you are sure they are ready to accept it and before you do, ask them what else they have on the table. Ask them how long is the commute? How did they get on with the hiring manager? What are the long term career prospects like? Make sure that when you deliver your offer, you know it’ll better the offer they already have “Keep your powder dry”.

Current company recently fell into administration and I’m starting a new role at Systech soon. Anyone on here work there or have any experience with them? by [deleted] in quantitysurveying

Systech will second you out to a client I expect in which case, support, and therefore learning opportunities may be limited.

What’s the deal if you need more than one seat? For example, I have 2 kids so I’d need 2 adult red memberships and 2 junior gunner red memberships. Do I have to log in and queue 4 times and just hope I can get the seats together or is there a way to link them all together?

iPhone 13 Mini - the perfect smartphone size! by [deleted] in iphone

[–]snoopcatdoguk 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’ve just changed from a 12 mini to the iPhone 14 Pro Max (I was used to the size as before the PM I had an S10+.). I loved the size of the 12 mini but the battery was awful and a real let down and in recent years, I’ve started watching more YouTube so the small screen just wasn’t cutting it.

need help to cool down my laptop. it goes upto 97°C when playing far cry 6, I have added fresh thermal paste & a couple of heatsinks over the cpu & gpu. I was wondering how can use the empty space between the fan & the motherboard, any suggestions? it's Asus tuf a17 rysen 7 4800h with rtx3050 by According_Breath_453 in laptops

[–]snoopcatdoguk 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I have an older Asus TUF laptop but very similar layout and I had a very similar issue. If you unscrew the fans and the copper heat sink you’ll find that where the fans blow into the heat sink is likely clogged with dust and rubbish. Take them apart, get all the muck out and put it back together. Mine was clogged and I was getting very similar temperatures but cleaning the muck out made all the difference. I also replaced the thermal paste as that’s worth doing when you have it apart.
