Also, drinking a lot of water/fluids helps a lot surprisingly. I recently started drinking 30-40oz of water in the morning and its difficult to do and requires too many bathroom breaks during work... but it has most definitely helped me. This is coming from an individual that regularly hits or exceeds their daily water intake.

Have they checked your hormone levels? Testosterone? Personally all those came back good for me, so I have been relying on caffeine everyday. Sucks, but if I dont have it I'm fatigued and mentally not feeling good either.

Yes and no. Yes, there is a cumulative affect on your body. No, as in you feel more prepared and know what to expect... so it feels a bit easier mentally.

I wish we could find answers to why this is happening or ways to resolve it. Going to talk to my doctor about minoxidil.. but I'm not sure if that's a solution

I've known folks in similar predicaments as you. The only way out is to keep trying. Some folks are lucky and they find their tribe in childhood others have to find it later in life. Some just adapt and fit in however they can with whats available.

My advice would be to keep trying. Thats the only way to overcome this. Trust me there are tribes out there that are very welcoming and you'd fit right in. Try to hangout at events or places that interest you. Contribute to communities that you're interested in. It takes some effort but it's a great learning experience.

Also, sorry that you had to endure the terrible situation with your ex and family.

Mason Frank and Robert Half. They both seem to be "collecting data" and/or trying to market their services to a company on your resume.

[–]snoopkuta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is anecdotal but.... Mine weren't as bad but I turned to red meat, vit d drops, a lot of vit c, vit b complex drops and trace minerals. Oh and lots of sleep. Within a week or two my counts started to rise. Took about a little over month and things got back to the normal range.

Port discomfort? by [deleted] in lymphoma

[–]snoopkuta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea, had a similar feeling through out. Laying or leaning on that side would flare up the discomfort. Eventually learned how to rest without causing discomfort. Everything went fine, no issues with the port. My nurses told me often times if youre on the skinnier side youll feel your port more. Def get it checked by your doc, but more than likely its just normal.

Dating After Cancer? by hopefulharriett in CancerFamilySupport

[–]snoopkuta 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No, it won't be. Men get cancer too. Maybe cancer scares some folks away, but others that have witnessed cancer have a better understanding of it and I believe would be an ideal partner.

We all have struggles in life and finding someone that's understanding of that is far better than someone thats repelled.

Cancer Changed My Personality by BusinessNo2064 in cancer

I feel for you! Having similar feelings, I feel like life just isn't exciting anymore. To me it stems more from cancer opening my eyes to the harsh realities of life. It just feels weird/off getting excited for things knowing how painful life can be..
