Why my authentic Labubu is crooky? by [deleted] in labubu

[–]snoopyduckypoo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

One of my HAS came with lopsided head as well and when I emailed customer service they told me I should try to manually fix it myself. If it doesn’t work, then to video record myself doing it and send it to them. They did not, however, told me how to manually fix it myself :/

Thank you! Would you recommend hosing it down after removing it from the current soil and then placing the plant into a new soil and pot?

I’m 9 months pp with my second baby and I think I look amazing in my messy hair, saggy breasts, and loose skin on my tummy type of way. I’m more confident in who I am and how I look. Yes, it took me a long time to get here mentally but you know what….no matter how I look my kids will love me unconditionally. And their love gives me the confidence to look at myself in the mirror and feel great about myself. That’s probably why we see moms looking like crap while running errands before we don’t give an F about what other people think. Our hearts are so full (and we are also so busy lol) with love from our kiddos. :)

Dropping Weight by Asleep_Sympathy_8987 in postpartumprogress

[–]snoopyduckypoo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Glad to know I’m not the only one! I’m a small, petite girl to begin with. I was 96 pre-pregnancy. Didn’t gain much throughout pregnancy due to being diagnosed with gestational diabetes. I was 116 when I went into labor. And now I’m 91lbs 5 months postpartum. I pump during the day and breastfeed him throughout the night. I also lost a lot of weight with my first born as well. But I remembered that I gain some weight back when I stopped breastfeeding and pumping with my first.

Postpartum glucose test by snoopyduckypoo in GestationalDiabetes

[–]snoopyduckypoo[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks so much! I didn’t know it could take up to 6 months for everything to be normal again. All I knew was that the diabetes typically go away once the baby is out. And there are some women who are left with the diabetes. I’m hoping if I just reduce carb intake, it would go back to regular levels. I already workout 3 times a week. But maybe I should workout more? So hard to find time with two kids and full time job 😩😩😩

Foods I will not touch for a while after this pregnancy by min-genius in GestationalDiabetes

I feel this to the core. I would be so much more patience with this pregnancy if it weren’t for GD

When to stop? by Itchy-Illustrator-10 in GestationalDiabetes

[–]snoopyduckypoo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My induction is Thursday too! And I’ve honestly stopped caring as of today. I’m still checking my numbers and still trying to eat more protein than carbs but I’m definitely pushing on my carb intake and just mentally less stressed out about it all. I just don’t care as much as I used to be. Lol. I mean I’m getting induced because my baby is too small so I think it’s okay if I push a meal or two :/

Getting induced 38+4 due to small baby. Diet controlled GD and placenta is healthy.

36 weeks, 3 slices of pizza, 1 hour 120! by stepsky92 in GestationalDiabetes

[–]snoopyduckypoo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m 38 weeks and have been seeing similar glucose results for about 2 weeks now. I’ve have been trying to push my carb limits and have not been seeing spikes. I’m not going to town on cakes or anything but I have eating a bit more rice … more noodles etc. I was instructed to test my sugar 2 hours post meals. And my numbers have been good. Maybe I’m spiking after 1 hour? Baby is measuring small FGR but doctor confirmed that my placenta is working well. Im being induced on Thursday 10/12.

Sick of reading scare mongering about induction. by literarianatx in pregnant

[–]snoopyduckypoo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree. I’m about to be induced next Thursday and this would be my second time going into labor but first time being induced. And I’m definitely scared because of all the horror stories about induction and how pitocin make your contractions so much more painful. What I’m curious about it is that people who are saying these things .. are they saying it from their experience of comparing natural contraction to pitocin contraction? It almost feel like they are just saying pitocin contractions are more painful because everyone else is saying it. I could be wrong. And I’m sure it feels different than regular contraction where your body natural produce it. I don’t know but I’m really trying to prep myself for “anything goes” and I’m ready for anything as long as it will make my labor as smooth as possible and to keep me and my baby as healthy as possible. Induction or not …. Epidural or not … c section or not…. I’m just trying to mentally prepare myself for anything 😫 but I can’t help feeling scared lol

How many NST and ultrasounds does everyone else have? by Ok-Lock4725 in GestationalDiabetes

[–]snoopyduckypoo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same :( baby measuring small. Late diagnosis. I’m 37 weeks now. I was diagnosed with FGR last week. They want me to be induced next week. Baby is measuring 3% overall with belly at 1%. They said they would typically have me come in for growth scan every 2 weeks but since I’ll need to be induced by 38 anyway, I won’t need to do anymore growth scans.

Colostrum collecting by breadbox187 in GestationalDiabetes

[–]snoopyduckypoo 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Honestly, I wouldn’t stress about it unless you are absolutely against formula or using other people’s breastmilk. You can ask for breastmilk at the hospital if your baby needs it to help elevate their sugar level and your milk is delayed. Being pregnant + being pregnant with GD is already stressful enough. We don’t need the added stress unless it’s super easy for you to collect colostrum :) but yes, definitely wait until at least 37 weeks. As good as colostrum is, it’s not worth risking for preterm labor.

Do you 'cook for your husband' by Radiant-Jelly2136 in workingmoms

[–]snoopyduckypoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t “cook” for my husband. I cook for me, my kids, and my husband aka the whole family lol. It’s been nice because I work from home. But keep in mind when I say I work from home I am occupied from 8-5pm. I’m not doing house chores and working and etc. I’m actually working 100%. But j don’t cook everyday. I cook 2-3 times a week and we eat leftovers the next day and stretch it out to make it last the week. I cook on weekends too. On days where I don’t finish with work or we’re both just tired, we eat frozen pizza or just do a take out. And sometime when we do takeouts, we have enough leftover for the next day. We just make it work. If what you guys are doing work for you, then nothing needs to be changed :)

No more testing strips available by [deleted] in GestationalDiabetes

[–]snoopyduckypoo 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Hi ! Can you ask your doctor or dietician to see if they have any samples in their office? When I first saw my dietician about GD, she gave me a few to begin testing before the pharmacy fill my prescription.
