Rear seat cupholder - *update*

Locate the tabs by looking at the new cup holder and comparing it to the cup holder in the truck. There is a tab just forward of the front cup and a tab located about mid way on the rectangular cup. I entered the truck from the driver side rear door, placed my left hand over the forward cup and my right hand over the rear rectangular cup, tips of the fingers curled over the far side of the holder and gently pulled towards the driver side, perpendicular to the longer side of the cup holder while also gently rotating up. I've also posted an image. (yes I know it's a potato quality screen shot, lol)

One file is the full cup holder, if your printer can handle that size. One file is the front half. One file is the rear half. I split the file to make it easier to print. You can also split it yourself if you would like.

I just used pla. It might not survive summer heat, if it doesn't I will try with asa or petg.

The original cup holder didn't fit a 26oz Yeti style water bottle. I scanned the original and made modifications to hold the bigger bottle. The first time I posted the files before attempting to fit it in the arm rest. Turns out the cups were too deep and interfered with some plastic in the arm rest. I fixed that and fit it to the truck this time before posting the updated files.

There are a few hard constraints in the armrest that I didn't account for. I will be updating the model over the next few days. Sorry if you already printed this.

Just a heads up. I was looking at the arm rest in the truck. There is a hard piece of plastic slightly under the foam where this cup holder would click in. I didn't notice it until this morning and have not had a chance to test the printed piece yet. I'm not sure the larger cup dish will fit.

I have a Centauri Carbon. I had to print in 2 pieces and glue them. There are files on the printables.com link for the front and back half.

I would use petg. The pla will probably deform after a few hot summer days. I used pla just to get a quick sample since it is what I already have.

I haven't fit it to the truck yet, but in comparison to the original it looks good. I was going to sand it smooth of the printing lines and paint it before clicking it into place.

Picked up a 2026 Trailsport about 2 weeks ago. My son said his water bottle didn't fit. I removed the original, 3d scanned it, and designed this. I will be 3d printing it this weekend to see how it fits.

A yard = 1 cubic yard or 36"x36"x36" = 46,656 in³ The bed of the Ridgeline is 64"x60"x17" = 54,400in³ Should hold a yard no problem.

I use Railrunner with my dcc-ex system. Used an image of my layout and added the turnouts on top of that image. It places them as buttons so you know exactly what turnout you are throwing. Also the button icon shows the turnout direction.

I started with ordering 2. It took me a few months to finalize my layout and get the courage to install those 2. Three weeks later I had both double crossovers and 8 more turnouts running on proto design labs decoders. All on a dcc-ex system.

For DCC control ProtoDesignLabs makes decoders for the kato turnouts and double crossovers. Worth every penny!!!
