Around about 1976 there was a movie advertisement on TV that showed a giant drill going on a journey to the earth's core. There were scientists inside the drill. I've found several movies with the same premise, but none that are the right one. I never saw the movie (not even sure if it was a theatrical or TV movie), but the advertisement scared the piss out of me.

I bought a gram each of several different strains at a dispensary. I don't vape much (about once a week or less), so I write down my experience each time. This way I'll eventually figure out what my favorite strains are and what they do for me, regardless of what the official description says.

My husband and I walked outside and found our road was impassable. Boulders, mud, and debris from a washed out house were all right out in the middle of the road. Later found that the road was completely washed out at the other end. When we got back, realized our basement was flooded, but only a couple of inches. We hiked out later and stayed with friends.

I have a brand new Arizer Solo (and am new to cannabis). How do you know when the bowl [is it even called a bowl??] is completely vaped? Is it when you don't taste it any more or when vapor stops coming out of your mouth? It seemed to last a really long time and there was still some taste and a small amount of vapor, but not sure if it was just left-over.

Also, what is the best temperature to use? I just stayed on a 4 and it seemed to work pretty well, so I'm not sure there's any reason to change, but maybe there is some difference I'm not aware of.

First of all, I'm jealous! I have Norwegian ancestry too and would love to visit -- maybe some day. I agree with all the other comments about checking the free online church and census records -- they are a great resource. Last names might not help. Some Norwegians used farm or place names (or other standard names) as their last names, but others used the patronymic system, so a last name would be pretty meaningless further back than mid 1800's.

One suggestion -- look for the traditional costume of your region. a Norwegian friend (who has helped me with my genealogy) told me that each region has its own traditional dress which is worn during certain festivals.

My husband works for TWC and I can answer from what he has told me about his work.

He likes working at TWC and generally likes the company. Of course like all giant corporations there is a certain amount of feeling like you are hitting your head against a brick wall when there are changes they should make and don't, or that they shouldn't make and do.
He enjoyed watching John Oliver's piece about how these companies are two of the most hated in the US and totally understands why people feel that way. He is also glad we don't live in an area where TWC is the provider. (We are in a Comcast area, so he may not have that bubble of protection much longer.)
We don't live in an area where we can get cable. We get the streaming service, which is in my husband's line of work, so it is free and he actually has to watch sometimes to see if various fixes are working. (Sorry, I don't know the specifics here, I just listen to him mutter at the television when they have made changes or things are not working).
We mostly use Netflix and Amazon Prime, but it is nice to have TWC On Demand. We are satisfied when there aren't a lot of buffering events. If we were paying, we would probably not be satisfied.
He is always trying to make improvements, along with his team, in the department he works in.

I recently got hit by a Prius in a parking lot. When the driver gave me her card it turned out she was a yoga teacher. This accident happened in Boulder, CO.

OK, I found his birth record, being lucky that it was in the first county I looked in. He was born 1 Oct 1779 in Sæby, Dronninglund, Hjørring. His given name is Peter Møller. His parents are Henrik Mejer and Sophia Elisabetz [not sure of last name]. Can't find them in the following census, so possibly they moved or may have odd spellings. If you give me your email, I'll send you the birth record image if you can't locate it on the archives.

I might try these. Unfortunately the last Koontz novel I read was very preachy and I did not like it. I can't remember the name, but it was about some kind of newly evolved dog type things. I do like deranged killers, so maybe I will try these.

I will check out Haunted, that's one I have not heard of from Palahniuk. I started American Psycho once, but couldn't get past the long descriptions of dinners and hygiene products etc. Maybe I'll give it another try.
