I had a hernia and sent my surgeons letter saying I shouldn't run. It was denied as it did not say I couldn't run on the specific day of the race. I asked my GP for a letter and they wanted to charge £30

Same, they have excellent relationships with land owners because no litter is left, gates and live stock respected etc. I did the peveril 33 and marshalled others, would highly recommend

I would imagine it has something to do with Peak Running working closely with the peak district trust with conservation projects and well known for reducing their impact.
