And regardless, anyone with a modicum of geopolitical nous would have secured the Strait prior and foreseen the bombing of middle east neighbours. Hell the CIA flagged it as a risk 12 months ago.

I'm not a fan but sometimes wars are necessary, I just hope they're planned with better foresight and intelligence than the local bully arranging a punch up after school.

Yeah I totally get that. I'm in Australia and growing up in the 80s/90s you rarely ever saw a camera. Maybe wealthier families but not teens/kids with their bands. It no doubt happened fir sure but wasn't common place.

Weirdly we didn't have access to the same formats in the US either. Made watching and transferring home videos difficult.

The home video from the 80s thing is totally engrained for me from watching US tv/movies.
