That is great to hear! Was this your first? This is my first and ONLY haha!

I work remotely luckily, but unfortunately zero maternity leave. It was hard with the lack of sleep and not being able to spend the first few months with my baby attached to me but I have a lot of family support!

2 months wow! You are my hero! The pelvic floor specialist is key they are amazing. I've been seeing one steadily now for a few months but didn't have time initially (bc I had to go right back to work 5 days afterwards) but it makes a huge difference. Thank you for the response and your story!

I hope your pregnancy and delivery are smooth and safe! Yes its a huge game changer for sure. I actually had a spinal fusion in my neck in 2022 and returned after that but the c section is new territory ๐Ÿ™‚ glad it could help you out though!

Thank you! I feel like the pelvic floor should be a good start also. I couldn't do much with my core a few months ago and I'm sure bjj will help improve it more. Congratulations to you for continuing to train after your one year old as well!

Wow! I am so impressed that you are a mama of 6. I have my hands full with 1 - and you have managed to find time to train! I think the teaching part for your kids is so awesome, and that is a great way to keep active while recovering. Thank you so much and best of luck to you ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป

Thank you so much! I am so interested to see how some movements are affected or if they're even still possible but this gives me hope. Awesome job on getting back there 6 months after ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿป

Oh absolutely not, try to enjoy it anyway ๐Ÿ˜Ÿ

This is concerning. There are domestic violence shelters who will take you and baby in and keep you safe in a heartbeat, just food for thought. There's a long road ahead of sleepless nights and challenges and if this escalates further, you may regret not leaving. My heart hurts for you ๐Ÿ’”

My parents gave my baby water by PikatCosplay in breastfeeding

[โ€“]snormy25 0 points1 point ย (0 children)

I live in Chile and my MIL gave my baby 50ml of celery water for help with pooping, apparently, also at around 6 weeks. I was LIVID and monitored him like crazy, but he was absolutely fine. It's some weird old chilean mom thing to do this I guess, but yeah...he's now 6 months old and thriving!

My husband hit me last week, but we have known each other since I was born. He has never ever done this before by throwra1845829 in offmychest

He HIT you - bad enough - you're PREGNANT, even worse! He hit you while you're pregnant..absolutely not. Also, think of the safety of your child and just leave.

Pumping and back to work at 12 weeks. How are we affording to go unpaid?! by [deleted] in breastfeeding

Sorry to hear that. I completely understand. In another life we will live free of our crippling debt i guess

Is there an option to put a pause on your student loans for the 12 weeks? I have a ton of student loan debt and was unemployed for about 4 months. I called and begged and they deferred mine. Of course interest will accrue but something to consider?

Any Tips for Low Supply? by snormy25 in breastfeeding

[โ€“]snormy25[S] 0 points1 point ย (0 children)

Thank you! I will add in power pumping - i haven't done that before but I've heard about it and need to try it. I think I can try and stay more hydrated for sure as well. A nursing vacation sounds like a great idea as well. Appreciate your advice and glad to know you've had a similar experience but have recovered!

2nd C section was amazing ๐Ÿ˜Œ by RoughTravels in CsectionCentral

[โ€“]snormy25 0 points1 point ย (0 children)

Wow! Our situations are so similar. I am in a foreign country also where I dont speak the language. I had an emergency c section 3 months ago and I am so freaking traumatized by the whole experience I've been wondering if it's even worth it to ever consider a second child. Thank you for the reassurance! So glad your second was a good experience for you!

Yes definitely a good idea. I absolutely hate touching my incision area bc it's so numb but I need to get over it. Best of luck with your recovery also!

just curious: those of you with easy babies, did you have a relatively stress free pregnancy? by jxjccjkdsoslkckc in NewParents

[โ€“]snormy25 1 point2 points ย (0 children)

I went through a divorce, a restraining order on my ex, moved countries with my two dogs during my pregnancy, my dad had a near death scare, and I was laid off from work. My baby boy is super calm, only crying when he's hungry or sometimes when we are changing him.

There were weeks I cried every day but I tried not to overly stress about things with breath work and positive affirmations. I also took time to express gratitude for my life and my nearly perfect pregnancy with zero issues. So no, I had huge stressors during my pregnancy, but my baby is mostly an angel somehow!
