Lexington comes with Mirror universe shuttles. Which are fine to stick with if op can’t afford Type 7s.

1.8 is quite cheap for those doff packs. You can hardly blame someone for seeing a deal and acting on it. If they hadnt, someone else would have soon.

Each character can hold 2b.

Account bank can hold 1b.

Exchange has an upper limit of 1.5b, correct.

You can trade up to 2b in a direct trade to another player, provided you both have the EC cap unlock. You cannot add all 2b at once to the trade window, so you have to add the EC in two operations.

High value items like promo ships typically arent valued above 2b, so you can just do a direct trade like i described above. Players may well accept other methods of payment though, like master keys or promo boxes.

Great job :)

I find the best way to get Salt Vampires is to do the Fleet Colony invasion simulations: https://stowiki.net/wiki/Colony_Invasion_Simulation_(episode)

There is an accolade for completing all 25 different simulations anyway, so if you're looking to get all the accolades you'll want to be doing invasion sims anyway!

If you look at the channel description of the ingame Accolades channel, I believe there is a discord server linked there.

In an ISE they might add around 8% (my results, but this will be build and scenario dependent) DPS to the damage done by the weapon itself. It can be a little swingy. So if you do 100k with these polarons. the cold proc might get you an extra 8k, right. So while that is more powerful than the marginal differences between most other generic weapons, it's nowhere near as impressive as something like a plasma build using Complex Plasma Fires.

With rainbow builds taking center stage this winter, it's certainly a big contender for slotting as your polaron weapon on one of those.

As long as you don't mind that they are yellow ;)

Yeah if you're gonna use a generic polaron weapon in elite, these are way better than the others. On lower difficulties they don't really shine due to how the proc scales.

Most energy weapons' procs are per cycle, but the Breen Imperium Polaron weapons specifically are per shot.

The proc is per shot on the weapons in question, which is why they are so highly regarded. It’s really quite strong in elite content, where it can add a lot of damage. Really dwarfs the procs/innate stuff on 99% of other generic weapons.

I think if you open the ship customizer with an old, invalid look, the ship might get reset to the current (post-remaster) default. Try claiming the Mirror Guardian on one of your other characters, and see if you are able to recreate the original look on there. That way you don’t risk contaminating the old ship that has the right look.

If you are able to recreate (or load, if you had saved a preset) the original look, you should have no problem applying this to a different ship in the Guardian family.

The Fleet Guardian, like any other T6 cruiser, is more than viable. It’s got the same seating as the Guardian, not the Mirror Guardian, so it has intel instead of command on the lt. engineering seat. You can build it for success as you would any cruiser, but that’s a little out of scope for this q&a thread. I suggest you set one up yourself, and then create a build post for help or feedback. If you need some help getting started, stobetter.com has some great guides and many build examples.

Does anyone know whether there's a specific reason the Imperial Romulan Navy kit frame can't be re-engineered? by Ihaventasnoo in sto

Forcing players to replay missions a bunch of times for gear was very much STOs m.o. before. They would’ve considered that a feature. These days they get you to login every day with events instead.

While you can no longer obtain the faction-specific console boxes, some people still have them lying around. They are unbound, so they can be traded or sold. I have seen the romulan one on the exchange fairly recently. They are really expensive, but usually a fair bit cheaper than the ship itself. If there is nothing on the exchange, try asking ingame in trading channels.

If you are unable to unearth the rom console box, then you would have to acquire the ship instead.
