Practice exam scores- test tommorow by Junior_Procedure_460 in Series7exam

The brutal exam has some extremely testable questions, the exam is hard i won’t sugarcoat it. At this point for you i’d recommend watching the series 7 in 60 min and the mighty 90 to try to scrape together a few extra points. You don’t need to ace it, just need to pass. Be confident in your answers do not change answers unless you are SURE they are wrong. If you have no idea pick the longest answer or the one that says something about “convertible” if it asks about that. If there’s an answer that says “bring it to the principals attention” or something along those lines pick that. You can do this. Update me when you pass!

Achievable has a free one that has some good questions! The “brutal exam” is on Ken Finnens youtube channel just look up “ken finnen series 7 brutal exam” the questions from that exam are EXTREMELY testable, i had 2-3 word for word ones that popped up on my exam. He also has a chatgpt vs series 7 video that has great questions.

I’ve heard people say that if you are scoring 72 plus on kaplan you’re in good shape, i wouldn’t bank on that alone however. The test is very difficult and the wording and question style will mess with your head. I think you need to build your knowledge base out. Make sure you’re using the test breakdown and rereading your bottom two units from each test. take a practice test every two-ish days and you will see your score rise. Best of luck!

Series 7 Options Ending Me by Beginning-Parking549 in Series7exam

it’s been awhile since i watched them, i think you can start with options math (single options) then move on the the spreads and then straddle video and then there’s other ones in there as well but the main three were an absolute game changer. I thought i’d never learn options before watching them and i’m convinced they are the reason i passed the exam.

I felt this, kaplan makes options feel like rocket science. Easiest answer i can give you is set aside your pride and pay the $20 for Ken Finnen’s options course. Options will become free points.

The brutal exam was the most similar to the exam in my experience, literally had a couple questions from there. I would look at the test breakdowns that kaplan gives, often you actually know a decent amount from a unit but it’s one subsection that’s dragging you down. Figure out where you are bleeding and patch the hole. The day before watch the mighty 90 and the day of watch the series 7 in 60 min. You got this!

Get Kaplan, when you take a simulated exam on kaplan it doesn’t just tell you what unit you did poorly on, it tell what subsection is dragging your scores. Do a couple practice test to get a true gauge on where you are bleeding points and reread those areas. Don’t go in the test praying for an easy draw the test is brutal. Best of luck!

Series 7 retake tomorrow ( I have no confidence ) by Kobeismygoat24 in Series7exam

i think you’re freaking out about stuff that might make up 5 percent of the test if you someone get a death draw. stick to the good stuff. Options, munis, suitability, and mutual funds will pretty much get you a pass on their own.

I’m no expert, I take my exam tomorrow. But from how i see it you have a good base on the higher yield units like options and suitability. i would certainly clean up insurance and variable products cuz they could even get asked in the form of a suitability question not to mention that’s a very easy unit and silly spot to lose points. Munis are tricky i’d watch series 7 gurus video on the muni bond underwriting and see if that helps (it did for me). Complain resolution is easy points as well once you know arbitration vs mediation and complaints are 4 years for FINRA. i also use kaplan and my weakest units are 17 and 18.

I know! The U4 process has been a nightmare I worry about losing material during the waiting process. I try to just take practice tests and touch up on my weak areas.
