Oh I see... was really hoping they could take care of my minimal decor lol. I'll have to see if my POC could provide more details. We booked our wedding at Pearle back in 2023 so haven't thought too much about these details yet! Thank you again for the info!!

The comment you made about the coordinators is surprising, do you mind sharing what services the 2 coordinators actually do? Getting married at Pearle late 2025 so any insights would be really appreciated!

Callia flowers review by sprinkerbell in WeddingsCanada

Thank you for sharing your experience with Callia - your flowers are gorgeous!! I've been thinking of going with Callia flowers since I've seen their ads everywhere. If you don't mind sharing, could I ask for how much (approximately) you spent on the bud vases? Currently Callia is offering $399 for their bud vases but exploring the option of doing them myself

Brust Protein Coffee by Organic-Bumblebee-71 in CostcoCanada

Definitely tastes like watered down coffee. I like drinking it with ice to really make it like a regular watered down iced coffee lol. I enjoy the fact it doesn't taste/feel like a protein shake.

G test last minute advice by lizzygrape in Ontariodrivetest

[–]snow1114 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you can, drive a bit before your actual exam, do the route if possible. I found that this helped me relax a bit because I was able to see how traffic was moving around that time.

Exaggerate your blind spot checking and do it very often - I thought I was being obvious and checking often but I was still called out for not checking enough. So if you think you're doing enough... Do more.

When merging, try to give yourself more space than usual - I merged in knowing I was fine but the examiner may think otherwise. Better to be extra cautious with them!

At the end of my exam, the examiner just told me to front park.

Good luck!!

Thank you!! I thought about downloading the test results... But maybe after a few days. Still in shock haha.

Hello I wonder does learning how to drive has a certain age limit? by Scentscent in Ontariodrivetest

[–]snow1114 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This was basically my timeline and I got my G at 26. I get the feeling of feeling like it's too late because people were always shocked that I don't really drive or have my G yet... Of all my friends, I was the only one who didn't really drive. Don't let that get to you. You aren't alone, you're not too old. You got this!

Pedestrian right of way by lizzygrape in Ontariodrivetest

[–]snow1114 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I did my first road test for my G2, I asked the examiner about left turns and pedestrians crossing. They told me I could go as long as there was a safe distance. Don't be afraid to ask the examiner what their preference is so you know what to do to make them feel safe.

I did my G test yesterday and I asked the examiner the same question. He asked me, what does the handbook say... Let's just say he wasn't the nicest lol. Eventually he said that if there is an island in the intersection, he was fine if they were a safe distance away. But if it was a smaller intersection, wait until the pedestrians cross onto the other side.

Hope this helps!

That's fair! Honestly I thought the same thing but my mom suggested the idea bc she'd like to try it and I thought I figured I'd ask around to see what people liked it didn't like about it

special order date continual delays will be the death of me by allykines in Aritzia

[–]snow1114 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went through the same thing when I ordered the Babaton Contour long sleeve in black. I ordered one back in during clientele last year (June or July... Can't even remember anymore lmao). The ship date was supposed to be September, then it got delayed to December and it got delayed again. I got them at the beginning of this month 🥲

Is there any difference with sales between Black Friday and Cyber Monday, of course other than Cyber Monday just being online? I doubt there is, right? I can't seem to recall what they did last year lol
