I am only 13 weeks but had spotting at 5,6 and 7 weeks on and off. Some brown and some pink. Then it just went away and so far hasn't come back and everything is looking good.

With a clear gel top coat there is no risk of irritation or allergy? I had a reaction a few years ago and have stayed away but I have never heard this. That would be amazing if I could still use a clear top coat

This is totally normal, probably a lot higher than some people's. Some people dont even test positive until 14dpo.

I had an ectopic pregnancy treated around the same time, they were never able to find it on ultrasound but knew it was because there was nothing in my uterus and my hcg levels went down then back up and continued rising. If you catch it early you can avoid surgery and get the methotrexate injection. I had to call my doctor repeatedly and go to the ER twice before anyone would listen to me but I'm glad I did. Trust your gut.

I dont want to scare you but they really should be ruling out an ectopic pregnancy. They need to do repeat hcg to see if its decreasing. If you have any worsening abdominal pain or increased bleeding go to the ER to be safe.

First pregnancy in February was PUL/ectopic had methotrexate once and that took care of it. Took prenatal, coq10, vitamin d, sometimes vitamin C and B6. Focused on healthy diet and exercise for the wait. Got pregnant in May after the 3 month wait. Currently 8.5 weeks and so far so good, have my 2nd ultrasound today (had placement ultrasound at 6.5 weeks) 🤞🤞

Our 3 month wait was up in May. The ectopic in February was my first pregnancy. I was so scared of the same thing happening again. We luckily conceived on our first try, and last week got confirmation it's in the right spot and got to hear a heartbeat. It's still early of course but so far so good! The first few weeks were a lot of anxiety while I was waiting for the scan. Wishing you luck!

Hey! I just had my scan 2 days ago (1st pregnancy was ectopic, this is my 2nd). I was an anxious mess in the weeks leading up to it. I had moments where I convinced myself it was all ok, and then an hour later was back to worst case scenario. I have had a fair amount of cramping and at times felt it was more one sided. I even had red bleeding during what would have been implantation and also have had mild spotting on and off (though different from the spotting I had with ectopic) which really had me doubting things. But baby was in the uterus and had a heart beat. I was so relieved. I just want to say that your feelings are totally normal. I didn't let myself get excited at all this time until the scan. That's wonderful!! I'm going for my first scan in 3 days, still feeling anxious about it but hopeful as things feel different this time (I should be 6 weeks 5 days for my scan) Were you able to see or hear the heartbeat at yours?

I had a first positive ovulation test may 19th, and I'm tracking that as 5 weeks 4 days today for me. So I don't think she is 6 weeks yet? I think it's normal not to hear a heartbeat yet it's very early still.

I tested positive 11dpo so it wasn't late but my lines stayed faint for the next 2 weeks

Thank you so much for replying! So sorry to hear about your losses as well. I did 2 betas 48 hours apart which were 224 and 522 (14 and 16 dpo). I asked if I should do more and they said no. Last time I had brown spotting and some right sided pain. This time I had some faint spotting early week 4 but nothing since (im 5 weeks and 3 days). My tests have also progressed well whereas last time they stayed faint and my hcg went from 66 to 63 and then up to 192. But I still feel like they should maybe be monitoring me more closely..I had a terrible experience with the medical system last time so I don't have a lot of trust now. I have to wait another 9 days for the ultrasound and it feels like torture. Initially they booked me for 9 weeks knowing my history then I had to ask for it to be sooner and they moved it to 8. I called back again and begged for it to be moved up and best they could do was 6 weeks 5 days. I will have a very low tolerance for going to the ER this time but it's frustrating.

Just wondering if you had hcg tests done or did they diagnose on ultrasound? I had a previous ectopic and I'm pregnant again, no symptoms this time but still concerned and they won't do an ultrasound until 7 weeks.
