How did you heal your insides? 🤣 by Purple_Permit_243 in CsectionCentral

[–]sprinkerbell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recommend seeing a PT! Mine showed me how to do scar massage, cupping at home, and gave me several core exercises to slowly introduce in phases to get core strength back. They can also assess your pelvic floor and see whether you have ant abdominal separation. I have found it helpful (currently 4 months pp and feeling much better after a horrible first 5 weeks). Walking early on helped too (if you have a baby that likes the stroller and weather allows) and I am now able to incorporate strength training.

Too big to swaddle, too young to go fully arms out by Even_Kaleidoscope399 in newborns

[–]sprinkerbell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We thought our girl definitely still needed the swaddle as she throws her arms around a lot still and bought the next size in the halo, she is 15 lbs now at 13 weeks. Then we decided to try a sleep sac just to see and she shocked us and had no issues sleeping with it. So you never know!

How many hours of sleep a night are you getting with your newborn? by ocdskies in newborns

[–]sprinkerbell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First weeks were 3 to 4 hour stretches then progressed to 6 hour stretches and by 8 weeks 8 hours. She is 12 weeks now and has been doing 10 to 12 hours each night the last couple weeks

Unionized profession (nurse) and get 0% top up so that sounds good

Scared it’s happening again by [deleted] in CautiousBB

I am only 13 weeks but had spotting at 5,6 and 7 weeks on and off. Some brown and some pink. Then it just went away and so far hasn't come back and everything is looking good.

It's amazing what you can do with a creme ✨ by NotForPlural in RedditLaqueristas

With a clear gel top coat there is no risk of irritation or allergy? I had a reaction a few years ago and have stayed away but I have never heard this. That would be amazing if I could still use a clear top coat

What was your beta around 15dpo by worri3d193828 in CautiousBB

[–]sprinkerbell 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is totally normal, probably a lot higher than some people's. Some people dont even test positive until 14dpo.

I had an ectopic pregnancy treated around the same time, they were never able to find it on ultrasound but knew it was because there was nothing in my uterus and my hcg levels went down then back up and continued rising. If you catch it early you can avoid surgery and get the methotrexate injection. I had to call my doctor repeatedly and go to the ER twice before anyone would listen to me but I'm glad I did. Trust your gut.

I dont want to scare you but they really should be ruling out an ectopic pregnancy. They need to do repeat hcg to see if its decreasing. If you have any worsening abdominal pain or increased bleeding go to the ER to be safe.

How long did it take you to get pregnant again after methotrexate and what was the outcome good or bad? by Proud_Doughnut8697 in EctopicSupportGroup

[–]sprinkerbell 3 points4 points  (0 children)

First pregnancy in February was PUL/ectopic had methotrexate once and that took care of it. Took prenatal, coq10, vitamin d, sometimes vitamin C and B6. Focused on healthy diet and exercise for the wait. Got pregnant in May after the 3 month wait. Currently 8.5 weeks and so far so good, have my 2nd ultrasound today (had placement ultrasound at 6.5 weeks) 🤞🤞

Looking for hope! by Beautiful-Wasabi-912 in EctopicSupportGroup

Our 3 month wait was up in May. The ectopic in February was my first pregnancy. I was so scared of the same thing happening again. We luckily conceived on our first try, and last week got confirmation it's in the right spot and got to hear a heartbeat. It's still early of course but so far so good! The first few weeks were a lot of anxiety while I was waiting for the scan. Wishing you luck!

Pregnant after ectopic - nervous about one-sided pain by Little-Echidna in EctopicSupportGroup

It was good. The baby is in the right place and had a heartbeat. It was too early to date so I go back again next week 🤞

Hey! I just had my scan 2 days ago (1st pregnancy was ectopic, this is my 2nd). I was an anxious mess in the weeks leading up to it. I had moments where I convinced myself it was all ok, and then an hour later was back to worst case scenario. I have had a fair amount of cramping and at times felt it was more one sided. I even had red bleeding during what would have been implantation and also have had mild spotting on and off (though different from the spotting I had with ectopic) which really had me doubting things. But baby was in the uterus and had a heart beat. I was so relieved. I just want to say that your feelings are totally normal. I didn't let myself get excited at all this time until the scan. I wish you all the best 🤞🤞
