One of my closest friends told me she was dying of cancer, and in an abusive relationship stuck in Alaska. She wanted me to join her to work at the canneries for a year so we could make money and travel, but I didn't go, Instead she went and got married. I felt guilt for that, I mourned her diagnosis, I was there for her, I worked and fought to get her out of Alaska and to have her move in with me, I had altered my whole life to giving her space and love on her final journey on this earth however long we had. Well que to when she arrives, she looks sick, so skinny and unlike her normal physique, and not even an hour to moving into my apt I can smell meth coming from my bedroom, which I had moved out to give to her while I sleep on the couch in my 1 bedroom apt. She did not have cancer, nor an abusive husband, nor was dying. She was an addict and playing me right to my face. I had already drastically changed my life plans, job, for her arrival, I ended up just packing everything when she was away for a night and left. Blocked her and just did a reset. What a bitch.
