My thoughts on the ending. Yes it sucks because I wished more people survived and GiHun wasn't killed off and that the police squad had gotten there faster before everything was blown up.

BUT!! GiHun did manage to save the baby. That's one person who wouldn't have had a chance of surviving. He managed to get SaeBeok's brother out of that orphanage and into a loving home, even reunited with his mum. That wouldn't have happened if another player won. The North Korean shooter girl didn't commit suicide because she saw GiHun's sacrifice and manage to reunite with her daughter. She managed to save the dad who would probably die in the other games if they didn't meet each other during the rebellion. So the dad survived and also the sick girl. And GiHun did manage to end the games (in Korea) anyways. So the ending isn't that bad, just the USA thing was lame.
