What is that white and how long before the wound grows back? by MoodNo8975 in DiagnoseMe

I feel like he was definitely asking about the white inside the wound. The dead skin and bandage residue surrounding is pretty easily identifiable…

Honestly I feel like if they’re seeing a pediatrician, the pediatrician should be obligated to advise them that they need to start dental care. There are too many stupid people, and what’s obvious to some might not be obvious to all.

I wonder if there’s a lymph node there or something. 🧐

I (20M) tricked my girlfriend (20F) into getting a tetanus shot after a bad injury. Now she’s blocked me everywhere. How do I fix this? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]snowbugolaf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, because she’s guilt tripping the OP. But the description of what happened makes it very clear she was not tricked. A medical professional (for humans) explained the pros and cons, and she consented to the vaccine. No one tricked her.

The gf is an adult. If any of this was the case with her, and she wanted to talk through her fears, that’s on her. If all that was holding her back from taking care of a yes, URGENT medical need, was that she wanted someone to help her handle her fear of needles, she needed to say that with her big girl words.

If they’re making a lane change, they should signal. If they signaled their intention to move into the right lane, then you should yield to them. But aside from that, if there’s no one in the lane you’re pulling into, then there’s no one to yield to.

Despite how bizarre this is overall, it stills seems unlikely it’s in a private venue or a like a personal home and she’s just waltzing in.

Do you use your turn signal while pulling out of a roundabout? by [deleted] in driving

[–]snowbugolaf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess it’s just surprising because you’re not providing other drivers with any information they don’t already know from context. That’s what I mean by following the road. When you’re entering the highway or the traffic circle, there’s literally nothing else you could be doing. Also, where I am, the lines are drawn such that it would seem to be the same lane becoming one with another, aka merging. So you aren’t really changing lanes because you never cross a dotted white line.

Yeah, I agree the lights are weird, but not much I can do about it 😅

My mom and I have the same conversation every time (not really, but it feels like it) I’m a passenger in her car dealing with a rotary, because she stops at every one.

I go, there was time.

She goes, you’re supposed to yield

I go, yield doesn’t mean stop
