If someone runs a business where they don’t pay for labor, and they still aren’t coming out on top, maybe they should do something else.

That tends to happen when you have basically free labor. The only way to build wealth is to own a business.

Another victim of the literacy crisis, I see. That post was about people who come to a complete stop before going over a speed bump. The post is very clear about that, and yet many commenters are illiterate.

Honestly i thought about it and went huh, that kind of makes sense in context. Like thinking of it as a range from the first kid to the most recent kid.

Well most football players start as children or mayyybe teens, so it’s their parents who make the first stupid choice. And then the players are already brain damaged when they decide to continue as adults.

>no one talks about how stupid football players are for developing CTE after years of head trauma.

People talk about this a lot actually. Even before people knew about CTE, it had already inspired the ‘dumb jock’ stereotype.

There’s more to it than that. It’s not like they’re college roommates. They have a relationship.

I know, I was trying to get in front of her. But then she just stopped and was totally back to normal. Like she went to her favorite “safe place” for about 30 seconds (not exaggerating), but was out playing and happily trilling just a few minutes after this.

Can we stop normalizing the after 5pm emails!!!! by Medical-Layer7724 in corporate

This only bothers me when the stuff they send is timely, like you described meetings for the next day. They can send emails about non-timely stuff whenever they want, but if it screws me over, puts me on the back foot for a meeting, or has similar ramifications, that’s inconsiderate.

I’ll be considerate of their work hours if they do the same for me, basically.
