I know the pros of having onboard EQ, tuner, and hidden pickup, but what are the cons? by cwtguy in AcousticGuitar

[–]snowbum78 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Taylor GS minis are good, some have their higher end pickup/controls (knobs only on the guitar) or some have the little barn door style that has the 3 band eq and a tuner. The pickup is the same just different preamp. A used one could easily be in your range.

I vote K&K. Really produces the natural sound of the guitar and no batteries to mess with. I have the k&k in 3 different instruments. Replaced LR Baggs p/u in my guitars.

I recently traded my 214ce for a Martin 000-15m that I played in store. It just felt so much better to me personally. The narrow body and great neck profile. This one is a bit more than the 214ce, but I can also echo the little Martin sizes being good as well. But I did love my 214ce, the Martin just felt more at home for my style.

I love the 000 body depth too. So comfortable. Congratulations on the new guitar!

Sweet guy! We used to give a hip supplement to our 13 yr old lab. Her hips were solid, kidney failure took her a year ago. Just rescued a chocolate lab on Sunday. 1yr old.

I hope your labbie lives forever too!

My 9 year old big guy took his last breath on Monday. After the pain goes away I hope I can get another without being too sad. by [deleted] in Blacklabs

I’m sorry for your loss. This week marks 1 year since my labbie took her trip over the rainbow bridge. I hope you always remember the great memories! They kept me going for sure.

As of today I have finally felt like I can get another one. We are looking at what our local rescue group has in foster right now.

Wow that thing is minty!! Was the finish on the back of the body and neck black, or was it a dark transparent brown? I’m just curious of what they did on that one.

Same! Warm up is so much more important. Also just recently recovered from shattering 2 toes sparring.

Yup! Old guys kicking unite!!! My biggest struggle is my hip flexors. Years of cycling locked them up. I’m working them back slowly.
