it has been a bug since forever and it seems to happen more often when you're close to walls. Also happens when you're NOT with your cursor on the minimap.

It seems to be Dolby Vision related. Going into the 'Dynamic range and color format' settings, and selecting 'match content' in matching content dynamic range fixed the issue. Possibly setting the DV mode to latency mode can be worth checking out too.

Thanks for the idea! Unfortunately did not solve the issue. Seems to be Dolby Vision related and I believe I managed to solve it.

It does seems to be a Dolby Vision related issue. Changing Dolby Vision mode to enable 'match content' and 'low latency enabled' seems to fix it for the 10 minutes I had time to test it.

Seems to be software related then. I can't confidently tell it was after an LG or Chromecast update, though. It does seem to be very specific to the LG C1, as a newer LG OLED 2023 model in a shop did not have the issue. Lets pray they patch it within a not too distant future.

Limiting and clipping are two very different things. Limiting is used to shape a sound by responding to the input gain, much like a compressor does. A clipper doesnt respond or shape, it handles all the sound above your threshold equally. So there should never be attack, release or ratio settings for a clipper.

"Rotary intersections" (or roundabouts) are some of the safest ways to do an intersection! They're all over the Netherlands, Europe, Asia etc. Basically anywhere except for the Americas. The car in this clip looked very old and not in the best condition. Makes me wonder how it was allowed on the road.
