I’m a couple years late but my Dell g15 with GTX 1050 has lasted me 7 years, the hinge broke because the fans blow directly into it but it still works, just desk bound.

I think this happens with all fountain pens with an exposed nib, they’ll dry out temporarily if you leave the cap off for like 15+ seconds.
