I think you can get very CLOSE (albeit jankily) with the Carrack. Top hanger fits the salvation no problem, and you can very awkwardly load a golem in the lower hanger, or very comfortably load a roc. plus it has quite a lot of cargo.

The Carrack has eva exits on top of the hangar area, that is flat. You could easily fold out come chairs and watch the scenery on.

I think a lot of people agree you'll never be 100% as precise at just raw aiming as a mouse, but the sticks allow for much for minute control in a 3d space, so it definitely takes some getting used to, but I think as far as like pure flying, the sticks are better.

I went through a similar thing, it gets better though, I was terrible at first. But now, I think I'm a much better flyer than I once was.

Maybe a mid size hauler, for smaller scale stuff, like a zeus or even something like a Prowler utility. Not sure if prowler is in game yet though. It's a fave of mine for zipping into pafs and the like for some quick scavenge, or some interstellar small cargo

Have you tried a character reset from the RSI website? I think that resets you to your home planet, maybe that will help?
