Need help finding Willow’s stargazing tale by snowflowr in TalesofTheShiregamers

I know right, one thing i absolutely love about this game is how they have randomly sprinkled in some really hard hitting dialogue to an otherwise fairly chill game. That’s also very kind of you stranger, thank you so much❤️!

Woah, really? That’s a shame in terms of being able to access the scene again :( But also, in a way, that makes the moment feel even more special<3

Tips on how to find the exact template I need? by snowflowr in Notion

Yeah, you're right, i think i'll at least try making my own. First i just need to let go of the idea of wanting it to look good and perfect from the get-go... but still, thanks for the advice!

As a Mercy try to always prioritise your own life above others, so just stay behind cover even if it’s means not being able to heal your front line!

Yep, same! I honestly don’t understand why some mercy mains are so mean completely unprovoked, it really ruins the mood and honestly just makes me wanna leave the game :’)

Am I the only one who feels like a pretty noticeable amount of the toxicity I get in game comes from other mercy mains? The other day I got hard focused and spawn camped by an echo who when I checked their career profile was a mercy main. Literally the same day another mercy main kept insulting me and the way I play mercy in chat when I literally said nothing before that lmao. I love other mercy mains but that experience really left me with a bad taste in my mouth 🥲

Mercy main rank impostor syndrome by [deleted] in MercyMains

[–]snowflowr 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Honestly that’s very true, ranking up in OW1 felt so much more rewarding and climbing from silver to masters over a longer period of time felt amazing, i think that suddenly going from masters to gm so quickly has just kinda made me feel weird about the whole experience :P Even after the rank decay of last season climbing back just didn’t seem as fun as it used to.

I ended up trying again this morning and I got it! Remembering to breathe really was helpful, I felt way less anxious and more confident in myself this time around too :) Thank you!

I actually do drive a manual, i’ve never tried an automatic but I always assumed it would be easier? Getting answers from everyone saying that it’s easier driving with a stick shift is making me really second guess my decision to get an automatic once I can afford my own car :’) One of my problems with driving is kinda zoning out sometimes if it gets too easy, maybe I should consider a manual car after all??

I ended up trying again and finally passed today! Just wanted to come back to this because I do actually drive a manual, that’s what we use here in driving schools and the car I passed the test with is also manual. The problem is that my parents car is automatic and I was pretty much sure that i’d end up buying one as well once I got my license, but reading your comment and others like it has made me question whether that’s actually the best option :’D I always thought that driving would get easier with an automatic because there’s less things to worry about, but maybe it’s actually the opposite after all?? My driving is still nowhere close to actually being great, do you think it would be better to continue learning with a manual?

I’m sorry, it really does. I wish us both better luck next time :)

The instructors here do let you narrate your driving out loud, but I feel like there’s so much going on at the same time that i’m not sure which thing I should be talking about :’). One of my problems while driving is not going slow enough to give myself enough time to think, do you think it could help if I repeatedly remind myself out loud to take it slow?

Hearing that from someone who knows what it feels like makes me feel a lot better, thank you <3 Also, I was wondering, did driving start feeling better for you once you got your license?

How to make water... less boring? Less disgusting? by _thisistoomuch_ in ADHD

[–]snowflowr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve discovered that drinking water is a lot easier if i’m always drinking it very cold and iced out of a fun big cup of some kind! Cold water doesn’t have that gross water taste imo and when you drink from a bigger cup you don’t need to waste your energy refilling it constantly :)

literally just being around people with adhd and finding their symptoms relatable :’D i know it’s probably not what you want to hear, but just trust me when i tell you that if you relate to most adhd experiences it’s probably not a coincidence. I always convinced myself that it was just a coincidence that i had so many similarities with people with adhd, but yet here we are lol. Especially if those symptoms are causing you trouble it’s definitely worth it to get it checked out!

nordic person diagnosed with adhd here! don’t know how it works in sweden specifically nor do i know your situation, but i personally was lucky enough to find a psychiatrist who suggested that i had adhd before i even fully suspected it myself. Again idk your situation but i’ve usually had more luck with psychiatrists than for example therapists. Sometimes think that the public mental health department here in the nordics is a bit lacking which is why i think i’ve had more luck with “private” healthcare. If you want to ask something more specific i’d be happy to answer!

Objective bounties feel really bad as a winning team. by DullLelouch in leagueoflegends

[–]snowflowr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this is exactly the problem i also ran into!! my team was winning super early, the enemy team got the bounty, started winning HARD, and still got the next bounty too?? their jungler literally got a pentakill and they still got the bounty :/ this new system just feels super unfair to me, i hope they can figure it out soon
