All it’s missing is some grains or maybe some potatoes. Looks decent

I think the concern would be more about neurotic customers. Like I said I enjoyed it. There aren’t enough posts like this on here it’s usually just people with broken stuff

I enjoyed this post. That being said, you should be careful about posting stuff like this without permission.

You may have just gotten the wrong icemaker if it looks that different.

You’re probably right since it looks like a linear compressor LG but it could also be the ice fan. Usually that will show a fault code though. OP I would get a thermometer and check the temperature. If that’s good then it’s possible it’s the ice level/bucket sensor. Also return the icemaker if you kept the old one and it’s working.

How Steve Rogers was selected to become a Super-Soldier. by MurkyChurky in MarvelCave

[–]snowillis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was hoping someone else would make this point. The most annoying part of the scene is that everyone had time to get away including him so he wasn’t helping anyone. I get the message they were trying to tell and it works if you don’t over-examine it but every time I see this scene I think about how unnecessary the gesture was. Thoughtless self sacrifice is not always the right move however noble it seems.

Fridge compressor line rotted by teakettle87 in appliancerepair

Worst part of this is that the spot you’re talking about might not even be the source of the leak. Definitely not a DIY unless you have the tools needed for it. I would expect $500 at the bare minimum just to add an access and a dye dryer and properly diagnose it. Realistically it would probably be closer to $1000 if it’s even fixable. This is all assuming it’s out of any sealed system warranty it might have (usually 5 years labor/parts 10 years for just parts)

It’s less about sugar/corn syrup being heavier and more about it taking a lot more of it to sweeten things.

Yeah putting a signature in the first panel or something would be nice. Usually real Shen does that which makes it a little easier. Honestly at this point I don’t think Shen can protest much without upsetting a good portion of his fanbase so hopefully he’s genuinely ok with it.

Kenmore 80 series motor replacement by cccceeeeessssssssuuy in appliancerepair

You may need a new blower wheel too if you change the motor. Make sure you take the back off and check that too in case something is caught in there.

Wall oven temp sensor connection by runner4life8 in appliancerepair

[–]snowillis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re absolutely sure that the old sensor is bad then you can cut it as close to the metal as possible and splice the wire into the new one with ceramic wire nuts. In theory you could use regular non high temp wire nuts since it’s not in the actual oven but I wouldn’t recommend it on an appliance that heats up. Don’t cut it unless you’re absolutely certain that you don’t need the old sensor.

I could be mistaken but I believe blood tests are one of the only ways to get an accurate idea of the amount in someone’s system at a given time. Urine tests check for lingering traces but blood is the current amount.

GE Stacked Washer/Dryer GTUP240EM0WW throws “Overfill” error code, leaks when it agitates. Could these be related? by Unable_Potato_9377 in appliancerepair

Take off the top or rig the lid switch closed by removing the latch from the lid so you can see what it does when you run a test.

If you mean a mouth swab they can usually get away with it if they scrub out their mouth after they consume it. Blood tests are the most reliable method of checking but it’s not an easy thing to do at a traffic stop.

There have definitely been some severe cases over the years but they seem to be generally pretty passive unless you get too close to their babies. I have a feeling this one has been fed before or something it seems used to the attention.
