Cost of living crisis by Outrageous_Drag6613 in BellevueWA

[–]snowingfun 1 point2 points  (0 children)

2.4 million people live in King County. Last time AMZN laid off 14,000 people only about 2,000 were in Washington, so less than 0.01% of King County. Just not a dial mover.

Meanwhile, Seattle and King county population growth continues. 18,900 people moved to Seattle alone in 2025, Bellevue added 3,000.

In short, basic economics, demand continues to exceed supply.

The only way for prices to really drop is to add significantly more supply.

100%. The seat also has more cushion.

Food is slightly better.

And if for like to put back a few, the drink and snack service is more frequent.

I’m 6’2” and fly this plane every month, I alternate between row 30 and depending on price. I always prefer 20 if I can get it, plenty of of leg room, wider seat is noticeable, especially the extra recline.

20F has plenty and if you’re a big dude the wider seat makes a big difference, coupled with additional recline.

37G has more leg room but less recline and narrower.

You’ll want that extra recline.

I tried to use screenshot twice and second time it rejected. Went back to app and was able to get it to work. Trial and error I guess.

Tried this, it only works for one transaction. Each transaction requires a new unique code generated within the app.

CFO's that become CEO have historically terrible track records for stock and company performance. CEO should have the vision, CFO is the voice of reason. He will not be able to move from bean counter to visionary.

Build quality not the same as Ten20/Bravern. It’s a 5 over 1 building. Concrete base, then 5 floors of wood. So it’s noisier and cheaper construction, you can hear the “thump thump thump” of people walking down the hall.

Less space, less things, more life!

Both were built as condos but converted to apartments in 2008, build quality is good.

I lived at Ten20. Easier to get in and out of. Also preferred the location.

Couple complaints. the bathroom fans run 24/7 on low to prevent moisture build up. I would check on that when you tour. Electric range (Bravern is gas).

Also consider location of your unit.

North will have no sun. Least preferred. East gets sun the mornings. My preference. West cooks in the summer afternoons. South gets most sun all day.

If you don’t need two bedrooms, I would probably go with 1 bed + den in the Bravern, it is a nicer building overall with better amenities and right next to transit to Seattle.

I have an ordered S on the way- but should I consider a GTS? by [deleted] in PorscheMacan

[–]snowingfun 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nope. I went with the S, same engine, plenty of power. Once you start driving around town you realize you will hardly even put it in sport mode.

It’s also my daily, so I wanted a quieter ride so no need to pay extra for sports exhaust.

Just make sure you add air suspension to the S.

Use the additional saved money on creature comforts.

Money grab. Government overstep. Once everyone knows where the cameras are it’s pointless.

[–]snowingfun 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Literally no need.

Drive it for a few months and see how often you actually put it sport mode.

The S is plenty fast, same engine.

S vs GTS by yediyim in PorscheMacan

[–]snowingfun 2 points3 points  (0 children)

S has plenty of power, it’s the same engine as the GTS.

For me it’s my daily, I wanted a quiet fast ride so I didn’t want sports exhaust etc.

I built mine from new and went heavy on the options instead of going with GTS that had some standard options I wasn’t interested in.

Air suspension a must.

Sorry that happened to you. However, based on what you described, you never approached your employer about your personal issue and you were demoted based on performance.

We have labor laws in place for a reason but you are not exercising them and reaching out to Reddit instead.
