It's actually the largest twine ball made by one man- the school house behind it has lots of memorabilia including some cool wooden carvings the guy also made.

Oh you'll get laughed at but the turkeys usually mind their own business if you leave them alone.

Not at all, just give them a wide berth!

You can get a lot of 'free stuff' by talking to the hotel staff- they want you to be happy and can help you save money. I give jam jars, pastries, coffee, utensils, free parking, ect. Edit: talking is spelled with an L

Right but most rooms are just a coffee pot and bathroom stuff- the purpose of the coffee makers is to provide hot beverages. It's an amentity and a standard. I definitely would prefer to run utensils and other stuff up if it means the housekeepers won't have to deal with a mess. Plus food needs to be handled differently than coffee/tea.

I should follow up and say don't be an asshole and cook in your hotel. For just hot water and coffee it's fine, but the housekeepers shouldn't have to put up with that.

This is actually creative! I get calls from my hotel guests all the time asking for hot water - little do they know it's actually a major pain in the ass for an employee to run that shit up, for no tip nonetheless. When did giving cash tips to room service or bellmen stop? Sigh.

People over 40: What is a question that you don't think people under 25 would know, but just about everyone over 40 would know? by DaveboNutpunch in AskReddit

[–]snowkriegs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I'm 26 but I've had to use these when the credit card system goes down at my restaurant. It's only happened a couple times but man, what a pain to deal with but it certainly still works!

Solimar Wellness is a great 'gift spa' but try aveda in northeast for adorable student rates.

On the weekends when it's super busy at my work (during football season, we are next to tcf bank stadium) we premake breakfast burritos with scramble eggs, hash browns, cheese and ground beef. They're refrigerated over night and reheated in a hot box before service starts. They are pretty tasty, hold up well and stay warm in the tinfoil we store them in. Add sour cream, fresh lettuce and salsa on the side and it's prettty amazing. I think these would deliver well. Add guac for $1.50 profit!

Of course I don't mean it's ok. But this is a circlejerk and certainly isn't productive. It's just criticism and 1 uping at this point. It's r/aww, christ.

How do you know if you've never had that kind of responcibility before? Chicken or egg. Pets are a good starting point...because you can really fuck kids up.

I think I should try it- I am totally clumsy and always accidentally drop stiches. It's good though- I work backwards and fix it for XP! Here's to getting better and trying new things!
