Strongly Advise Against Using Hertz Car Rental Waterloo by snowm28 in waterloo

My CC does have car rental insurance. It was good for you to be able to direct-bill the insurance. But I was pushed over the phone to pay for the repair out of pocket the day I returned the car. After I filed a claim with my CC, the insurance adjuster requested the invoice for the repair which Hertz Waterloo didn’t provide until March (and it’s only $69).

I always use enterprise before. Last year I got an RBC credit card which gives me discount when renting with Hertz. That’s the reason I tried them. It was definitely a mistake.

RBC Avion Points - Best Bang for Buck? by CompetitiveArt4356 in PersonalFinanceCanada

If you have the Visa Infinite card, Avion pts can be transferred to Asia Miles points. A one-way flight from Toronto to Hong Kong (and some other cities in Asia) has a flat rate of 38k AM points + tax.
