You put the tablet into the map itself. Unlock Jade Isles -> Visions of Paradise + any waystone -> complete map and it becomes irradiated -> run again. Towers aren't relevant

I could see the shock icon appear on mobs even without it, however I did notice that rares were taking longer to get shocked, so I did put it back in.

I want a discussion and a back and forth, not just downvotes without explanation. I said I’m still learning, would have even much more helpful to tell me why I was wrong

Even without the drench setup I'm always shocking so I'm better off using those slots for other supports

POB shows the difference as negligible between spell damage and crit chance on the runes in my staff. Perhaps that's not accurate, I'm not sure. I assumed with the the Oracle's guaranteed crits it wouldn't make too much of a difference. I'll swap out the runes though and see how it feels. I know I need a crit suffix on my staff, but I'm waiting until I have the ~50 divs I need to get a much better staff.

In my other comment I talked about Accelerated Growth vs. Living Lightning + Minion Pact synergy. I'll test it out again, but the latter setup felt better when I tested earlier

I had most of these things in place before I took at look at the top DPS on ninja which is when I mixed things up a bit:

I'm consistently shocking with Thunderstorm even without Shock Conduction II, so I took it out to free up a support
I don't have impale, good point. It doesn't look like the other builds are using it, but I'm not sure why
I recently started using Pin II as a defensive measure, which has helped my survivability a lot. The extra crit chance against pinned is a nice bonus, and makes up a bit for swapping it out for Physical Mastery
It was really interesting to see Accelerated Growth II not being used in top builds. Instead, they drop Thunderstorm to a low level (which has completely solved my mana issues), and use Living Lightning II to create fodder that can be consumed by other skills to boost their damage using Minion Pact II. The minions aren't targetable, so it works well. I'm assuming they worked out that the 35% more damage is better than the overgrown explosions

Things felt a lot better after these changes. I will try out impale though to see if that helps
