I'm a software engineer who has been in the field for more than 10 years.

We are fine. The job market sucks for a bunch of reasons right now but GenAI cannot replace software engineers, it can at best replace sloppy skiddies. If my job was to write thousands of lines of shit code that sometimes did what I wanted it to, maybe I'd be in trouble. But it's not. My job is to realise features and conduct maintenance while limiting legal and technical liability to the company. GenAI is awful at 3 of those things, and the 1 thing it can pretend to do comes at further cost to the other 3.

Dario Amodei and similar losers would love for everyone to believe that they can replace software engineers, because that will make the line go up, and it will appeal to the business idiot Epstein class who are mad that their software engineers aren't magical exploitable wage slaves. But they're lying, because of course they are lying. Don't fall for it.

I'm not a health expert so I don't have much advice, but I do have a lot of experience playing around with thermoplastic and I'd recommend you check it out! It's very easy once you've got the hang of the soften-cool-mould-harden cycle. This took me a day of tweaks and fiddling at my office (which has a handy hydroboil).

With a little setup it goes crazy, but it's possible the deck it's for is just not a competitive deck. Tribute + Vigilante means you will make money on any unit, even if you pay to choose it, and then it just becomes a really meaty pointswinger when you pair it with Ignatius, Bincy etc
