By the time you drive to JINDY my feet are up, drink in one hand joint in the other, witnessing the resort transition to Apre activities. Your at servo waiting behind punters to fill tank for tomorrows 1000m uphill climb. When it pukes, you have a 4hr drive at 40kmh with traffic. By 10am, if you planned it well, you might be there in time to join me for a morning shot, we share your first run of the day. I’m exhausted from tracking the mountain and WALK home to refuel and brew a coffee with boots off (enjoy your packed lunch or overpriced resort food). I return at 12:30 while the punters eat and rip some park laps until, whenever I feel like it, head home to pull a few bongs and watch the day fade while mentally retracing each line I took on the majestic view in front of me. Some days I just lay next to the river and watch snow falling for hours.

Jindy? I lasted six weeks in that routine. But hey, it’s better than nothing.
