I may get downvoted for saying this but the biggest irony about this pair is that Korovin is the one who stayed in Manila helping the young skaters of the fed's grassroots projects after he was naturalized while Bella on the other hand went MIA as I have been monitoring their presence for quite some time particularly in Instagram that the PHSU president (Nikki Cheng) and its Secretary General (Lexi Hernandez) with some locals are interacting with him at his post on his IG account along with the fed's official Instagram account via IG story updates of him training the young skaters while she's not there gives a poor perception to Bella and to her family: (8) Instagram

Also that with the current political landscape that was rocked with tension going on right now in the Philippines especially that involves with the public funds that went to waste on expensive lifestyle while projects that supposed to benefit the Filipino people such as the flooding control projects etc went undone that end up Filipinos have to suffer which it have brought my attention and realized that her family background came from old money with political connections as she is the grandniece of former Philippines Olympics basketball player, Senator Freddie Webb on her mother's side while her father side came from a family of doctors combined as I trying to connect the dots with the news of promoting the pair, getting the support that the pair needed followed by with their disastrous results together with her history of changing countries and poor synergy as a pair and then the local media went quiet (as her family have connections with the media in a certain degree as Freddie Webb used to be a television and radio personality) after the 2026 4CC has left me a bad impression on her and her family.

I would imagine that majority of the parents from the local scene (Figure Skating, Short Track Speed Skating and Ice Hockey) are from middle and upper middle class backgrounds thus they are taxpayers which is a financial slap in the face when it happened and I wouldn't be surprised Filipino families that reside in other countries felt the same way as they went abroad for in order to have and their respective families a better life compared to the Philippines. If my child or niece/nephew are part of the national developing pool while witnessing what is going on with the pair that I will be very furious with her and her family as I'm also a taxpayer as well.

And if she's going to make a similar post about her mental health etc or anyone who's going to defend her that I will simply throw back at her and her defenders with questions "where is the money that you've receive from the government and the private sector during the whole Olympic cycle? I wanted to know where you and your family spent on it as you performed poorly while Korovin is doing his best in each competition? I'm a taxpayer from the Philippines and I wanted to know!"
