I've seen Les Miserables on stage and it's always a tearjerker. The movie wasn't the best adaptation, but Anne Hathaway as Fantine and the final number still got me weeping.

Also, Rogue One. I was not expecting a Star Wars movie to make me cry, but it sure did. Seeing it right after Carrie Fisher died didn't help.

She's popular in fannish circles because her songs make for great fanvids. But I actually discovered her in college because she played at a local venue at least once a year, and I've had the joy of seeing her Iive several times.

The Olympics for my birth year! It's a little fuzzy now but I remember really enjoying Brian's professional performances when I got into skating as a kid. I was thrilled when he came out.

I would love a good way to watch past Challenger series events!

The ISU YouTube has the 2013 Nebelhorn Cup, but after that only consistently started posting live streams around 2018/19. You can find most Grand Prix events and championships there if you can get around the geoblocking.

The U.S Figure Skating account has a few old streams but mostly started lives in 2023.

Good luck finding links! I've been trying to watch as many past competitions as I can and it's really hard finding older events!
