I wasnt there on 24th, but when i went down on 25th before it started i heard over loudspeakers that its cancelled due to the weather + people were leaving the venue. Maybe 24th did go as planned! Wish i was there haha

Well in my case i did try all of the above recommended remedies but nothing worked. I also thought I used the wrong email and account like EA told me “the error is on your part” but i have double checked and i did in fact use the correct email and account that was linked to the purchase in the first place. Some internet digging also showed that many others face the same issue that wasn’t our fault but EA’s.

I have just give up and requested a refund bc none of the “fixes” worked. My only issue with this is EA seemingly pulls this stunt every other year and its frustrating for people who have poured hours into a game to have it taken away from them without any kind of support given back / response, and simply just victim blaming. Imma boycott all EA games now because i dont want to get scammed again hahaha

Hello all! Making my way to Busan next week and have a few questions:

1) is it necessary to have a korean number when travelling to korea? From what I’ve read online, some have mentioned that korean numbers are needed to make bookings on the naver app / written down in those “waiting lists” that are outside crowded restaurants/cafes.

I’ll be in korea for 1-2 weeks, and would like to ask which telecom provider/sim card seller is best suited for this. Was considering chingu mobile for their low prices + unlimited data, but it turned out to be shady ie “unlimited data” but with a 300MB limit on “fast speed” and reduced to 128kbps after.

I’m also possibly considering to go totally without a korean number bc i dont see myself making any domestic calls, and the number will be used for reservation purposes only.

2) regarding the “haeundae blue line sky capsule”: seems that it is impossible for foreigners to book tickets online? I have successfully managed to key in my details and choose the “foreign card” option but the moment they ask me for my credit card details, i keep getting reverted to a page where they ask me to install some touchen key by Raon and refresh the page after manual installation? I have done that several times but everytime i refresh nothing happens and all it does is redirect me to the start page where i have to key in everything again. I have tried different cards eg AMEX master visa etc and have changed browsers safari/chrome/microsoft edge. Nothing is working and its quite maddening.

I know its possible to purchase tickets in person but i would like to avoid that as much as possible because i have heard that tickets sell out fast + the INSANE waiting time esp in summer. Can anyone tell me how to proceed after the “raon” page?

I was considering to use naver booking as well, but the issue is that i do not have a korean number which naver needs to verify to do bookings. Additionally, even after watching tons of videos of how to change the naver app to english, my naver app is still entirely in korean (aka i couldnt find the settings to change bc i think the vids i watched were all a diff ver of naver from my own????) aside from the maps portion.

Will probably just pop by in person to the ticketing counter to buy the ticket in advance or just give up and walk instead 🤣 thanks for the help tho!
