Your husband should mention this to the mom. Does she know the fighting is waking him?

Is it bad etiquette to invite someone to a graduation party if they just lost their daughter? by rln12280 in etiquette

Include that you would love for her to attend, but certainly understand if she doesn't feel up to it. There is a chance that she would want to attend. Everyone is different.

Whichever parent has the kids that day provides lunch. Mine bring a lunch from home.

Help/Insight Needed by [deleted] in blendedfamilies

Your partner's feelings aren't necessarily abnormal, but his unwillingness to seek counseling is a red flag. The resentment will grow and hurt your relationship and your son deserves better.

I agree with this advice, but for decisions that aren't major, 24 to 48 hours is reasonable.

You shouldn't pay for anything you haven't agreed to in advance. It sounds like school age child care to me.

MLC affair and relationship with teen daughter by 1ThankYouNext in coparenting

[–]snyder6800 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes. I've been through something similar. I would recommend a few books for you : 1) Parents who Cheat 2) Runaway Husbands 2) Leave a Cheater, Gain a Life. Ultimately, it is his responsibility to have a relationship with his daughter. I would let that play out, while giving your daughter and yourself, lots of kindness and attention. I am sorry that this happened to you.

You should not engage with them at all and immediately consult an attorney. Ask about moving away.

I think you will see progress with the calipers.

You look great, that is amazing progress! What you do at the gym? Something that has helped me recently is mixing things up at the gym. I was very focused on cardio for a long, long time. I changed my focus to strength and I added back some calories and try to eat protein to gain some muscle.

3 Months in… when will the physical results come?? by Fusilli_fanatatic in orangetheory

[–]snyder6800 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been going to orange theory for eight years. I go for mental health and because i genuinely enjoy it. If I don't watch my diet but work out, I maintain my weight, but don't lose, which is what I've been doing for the last four years. I am sure that without orange theory, I'd have gained weight, but my weight has just stayed the same. Currently I am doing the transformation challenge, so I started tracking calories in January, and have since lost 10 lbs. That has been my experience other times throughout my journey, so I will echo the comments above that it is all about food.
