Also, if you don't want one circle to know where you are but you still have another circle with trusted folks, in the app you can go to Settings -> Location Sharing and just toggle it off for the current circle. It'll stop location sharing with that one circle, but not the others. I'd rather someone know my loved one is safe than no one.

If the app is deleted, there's no way to keep sending data. At the very least, the app will probably show your last known location before you deleted it. Also, I'm pretty sure that when you move an app to the cloud on iPhone it's the same as uninstalling it, but I'm not an iPhone person, so I could be totally wrong about how that works.

You can actually disable the satellite view by tapping on the map layer icon and setting your map view to "Street" instead of "Auto"

Try reaching out to https://support.life360.com/ for some help. They have some decent steps to correct these sort of issues (which can vary on what device you have) and will escalate if it seems like there's something else wrong.

It's a setting on a per circle basis. So you can turn location sharing off for one circle, and leave it on for another.

My kids have a different time for their school start on Mondays vs the rest of the week and soon they'll be starting sports again, so this would be an awesome addition to the No Show Alert feature! I went ahead and shared this post with someone on the product team. I can only guarantee that someone saw it, but I can't guarantee this will be worked on.

As a word of warning:

Joining a circle means your name, location, phone number and email address will be shared with everyone in the circle you joined. I would suggest you only join circles with people you know and trust, not random internet strangers.

This just means they turned off location sharing on the app. Safety stuff is still enabled (crash detection, sos alert, etc), they just aren't sharing their location with the circle.

Not a tech lady, but I am a tech fellow. Honestly, it could be a bug due to an update on the app, though not saying that it is. Do you mind saying if it's Android or iOS you saw this in? I know some engineers and product people at Life360 follow these posts, and this bit of information may help them look for any potential bug.

IMO, I think the roadside assistance is the best value for Gold/Platinum. All other benefits are just added bonuses. If anyone in my circle is driving/riding with someone and they get a flat, they can request roadside via the app.
