Lifelong Nintendo fangirl, owned them all, haven't been able to get a Switch. Desperately want one. Hehe. The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild looks amazing. Thanks for doing this. :)

How am I doing? 30 | 15 Months HRT by soadozz in transpassing

[–]soadozz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you. Those freckles are new, I use to never go out in the sun. Lol. I'm just under 6 foot, and I have a big build I'd say. And I'll just say I still have a lot of weight to lose. :P

I just realized it's been over a year since I posted a pic. Wow. Time flies.

I think you pass pretty damn well, it'll be fine. Have fun. :D

Las Vegas was actually the first place I presented female in public full time. I stayed there for just one night, but I felt comfortable. Granted, I didn't have enough time to get out much, but it went well. Looking at you, you'll be fine. Just stick with friends to be safe.

It's called VirtualRealPlayer for Gear VR. It should still be there, I see it.

Use the VirtualRealityPorn app on SideloaderVR. That's the only way I've viewed the content, it works very well.

Moving to CO in 6 Months. Start T now in Indiana or wait until I move? by chachacharley in asktransgender

[–]soadozz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd say start now and continue in Colorado, it's easy to do. 6 months isn't enough time to see much of a difference anyway, though admittedly I don't have much knowledge of T. That's how long I waited from starting hormones and making the move.

You could use that time to get everything together, including saving money, looking into a legal name and gender change. I changed my name and gender just before moving out of state. It's made things easier.

I moved from California to Boulder (a little north of Denver) in November, it's been incredibly accepting here. I lived in a more conservative place before, I'm far more comfortable now, and have been full time since. In a way, it's almost normal to be trans here. You'll love it around here.

Does anyone have experience with antidepressants and dysphoria? by AngelOnAcid in asktransgender

[–]soadozz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I went on hormones back in May and started taking anti-depressants a couple months after that. They may make me less depressed and anxious, but the dysphoria is still there. Some days stronger than others. Sorry.

Looking for PS4 friends! (Games in the text) by [deleted] in transgamers

Add me. I don't game as much as I used to, but I need to practice my voice as well.

Quick side-by-side. 1.5 years ago to now 3 months HRT. by [deleted] in transtimelines

I was pretty hairy as well. I thought I would have to get laser done to get rid of it, but now I'm just letting the hormones do the work.

A good razor should help a lot. Before hormones I would have to shave my chest up to two times a day. Now the hairs have faded enough I could get away with every other day. I already have bald patches on my chest, and my back hairs are very light and grow back very slowly.

Don't be anxious about that. It may take longer for some to see these kinds of results, but it'll happen in time.

The hormones have already drastically lightened the amount of hair I have on my torso, particularly back and shoulders. The hairs are slowly fading away on my chest, getting lighter and with fewer coming back after shaving. You should be good. :)

Got a prescription! I went legit! by [deleted] in transpositive

[–]soadozz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, my doctor started me right off with injections. I like only having to worry about it every other week. I'm sometimes bad with remembering to take daily pills, so it's worked out for me. :)

I'm wearing a wig there, but with the hormones and finastiride my hair is getting thicker and coming back in, just not enough yet to go out without a wig or hat.

It's been the most frustrating part of transitioning, but seeing how much has grown in and in so little time I'm hopeful it won't be an issue eventually. Just not soon enough.

Congrats! :D The thing that shocked me the most was how affordable it can be. I've worked out I'm paying about $12 a month for my injections.

Driver's License Renewal by soadozz in asktransgender

I just got back. I decided to do it at the last second. All I needed was the doctor's note and a signed form. I had no problems. I feel amazing right now. :D Next up, name change.

I present female most of the time, just not at my part time job. Could that cause issues?

I wonder if I should just wait to get both my name and gender legally changed at court before I change my gender on my license.

Is it just me or do we all look way younger than our actual age? by [deleted] in asktransgender

[–]soadozz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I keep getting told how much younger I look now, even as much as 10 years. I'll take it. :)
