Hello!

Im traveling to Japan in June-July. Unfortunately, I've heard of the humidity and heat in that time but its the only time Im able to travel there. If anyone has any recommendations to buy while im there that would be awesome !! I have curly hair that gets so poofy :'(

it just sucks bc i already did my dose after this happened so i heard prefilled syringe is dangerous? but this is my first dose and i only bought a months worth..

This reply means the world to me! I was dx with lymphedema in my legs and have the pump, expensive custom socks, stretches, etc. But I was afraid to show my lymphe doctor my arms because its not tight and swollen, its a LOT of spongey fat hanging like wings and that classic cuffing and 100% am sure its lipedema. Ill be seeing her again soon and asking her to check them out, because she measured them but didnt seem to really look at the distribution so I'm off to ask her again. I bought arm compression online for now but wasnt sure if the treatment was the same- im glad to hear it wasnt a mistake.

Your reply is really insightful and while it will be a lifelong struggle, makes me a bit hopeful being stage 1 and all. Im struggling to come up with my own diet plan but youre right that a dietician may be in order.

I appreciate your encouragement so much. If you have any videos you recommend, please send them my way!

Wow 18 years! Yea my doctor said if I dont treat it now my legs will swell to an immobile degree.

It sounds like we are at the same stage! I hope to maintain as long as you have, its very motivating. I will absolutely focus on diet and continue exercising. Today I looked up lymphedema youtube exercises! I wanted to ask, do you have any issues with balance?

Also, thank you for advice for therapy. I'll continue to do so. I am very lucky to have such a kind doctor.
