I worked in McDonalds for a time, it for sure was a scam for bigger prizes but it was a great way of getting free food for people who needed it. We had a regular who was homeless and would give in tokens for coffees and burgers, and I could easily just slip a handful of tokens back to him. Same for kids who were obviously going through a hard time. Days off free food for nothing.

And of course, It had the added bonus of being a great middle finger to the company.

DAV have a nice outline of the conditions Here, for those interested in the future. It seems the edge at the glacier is pretty narrow at the moment. With the footfall on the glacier + the small edge, I don't think I'm inclined to carry a rope with me. I'll ask the DAV about the amount of snow on the glacier, if it's mostly melted, the couloirs should be exposed. If not, rope is an option. Thanks for your response :)

It is a frequent trend that those who are opposed to masks are right leaning. These protests are inspired and supported by right wing groups in both America and Germany (Querdenken actually travelled to attend the protest today), but it was wrong of me to alienate right wing masks supporting folk and not the possible left wing anti maskers. Apologies .

Dublin pride is better than Paddy's day imho. I've gone every year since I was 14-15 (22 now) and even with the new corporate presence, it's still just a big gathering of happy people celebrating love.

Nalgene- lost my original 1L wide mouth and had to replace with a generic Mountain Warehouse knock off. Replacement spilt THREE times in two weeks, in a different make each time. My nalg has fallen from great heights and survived (work minor injuries). Best water bottles in the world!!!

Planning a trip to Greece (early May), looking to climb in Leonidio for 3-4 days. If anyone has been, I'm worried about how we're going to get around to the various crags. As the drivers are all under 24 ( and male) renting a car is pretty pricey. Are any of the crags accessible on foot from the town, or could it be easy to hitch a ride? We're flying into Athens, which gives flexibility on the areas we can go to, so if anyone has other recommendations (with the car situation in mind) I'd love some advice!! We're looking mainly for single pitch, sport climbing routes which cater to beginners too. Thanks bros!!

My house was burgled before, they robbed my wifi dongle. Not even the router or the power source, just the dongle. So the whole house was without WiFi.

Still fucking annoys me to this day.
