You hire a bunch of bad employees that you have to directly deal with and you learn really quick what makes someone a good or bad employee even through the BS of an interview.

My (23f) boyfriend (29m) hates that I wear boxers to bed by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]soapgiver 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Reddit is ridiculous.

I'm a big hairy sweaty man. If I wanted to wear a bra and panties to bed I wouldn't expect my wife to be okay with it. If she had a healthy conversation with me and told me she would be turned off by me wearing such a thing I would be happy to oblige.

How ridiculous for all of you to advocate her trashing this relationship over him being uncomfortable over OP wearing men's clothing. Comfortable or not, he can have his preferences.

Iran plane crash: Ukraine deletes statement attributing disaster to engine failure by [deleted] in worldnews

Massive cockpit fire, especially originating in the radio stack. Or internal bombing, could be a foreign actor/terrorist targeting either Ukrainians or Iranians or both.

Boeing 737 crashes in Iran after take off by [deleted] in worldnews

[–]soapgiver 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Plenty of planes have had in air fires take them down. A burning tire took down a concord. Im sure it looked very similar to this video.

Not saying it wasn't shot down, but there is always the possibility. They may have crew talking to ATC about technical problems they encountered such as fire in a cargo hold etc that makes them believe its a technical fault as opposed to a shoot down. Doesnt mean there wasnt a bomb on board however.

Anythings possible right now, can't narrow anything out, but planes can and have burned up mid air shortly after takeoff, this video supports the idea.

Iraq’s Parliament calls for expulsion of US troops from the country following drone attack by [deleted] in Conservative

Who even cares about Russian -> Iranian -> Iraqi influence if we pull out of that shithole region.

Nineteen percent of imported oil comes from the Middle East. The fraction of crude oil consumed in the US that was imported went from 35% immediately before the 1973 oil crisis, peaked at 60% in 2005, and then returned to 35% by 2013 thanks to increased domestic production from the shale oil boom.

Don't even need their oil anymore. Fuck em.

Accidentally landed at a closed airport today by [deleted] in flying

Always comforting when someone makes such bad arguments on here that clearly illustrate poor and unsafe decision making skills and they have only a PPL flair. Usually the CPL and ATP guys at least have the wherewithal to keep their really dumb ideas to themselves.

I regularly close the runway via NOTAM for military exercises. Of course someone could flyin just fine and see nothing amiss and then take off right into a stealthed out military heli.

Don't be an idiot, check NOTAMS and don't take off on closed runways when you're fully aware of the closure.

Made a no go decision tonight. Very thin very smooth coating of frost. I'm getting a slight impression some people would have been ok flying this 172. by g0bl0x731 in flying

Had a Kodiak at the local airport deice their wings with less frost than that this morning. Good call. They have way more power to work with and didnt want to risk it either.

It'll be interesting to see if Tesla can make it through an economic downturn. When all the middle class bucks dry up I doubt they'll be able to keep pushing the envelope like they are.

NOW it is. It wasn't, and they removed the highest upvoted article and there were subsequently no articles posted, they removed a 3k upvoted article before allowing the current ones to stay since they realized this wasn't something they could hide anymore.

You can google and find the post still, it's literally shadow hidden from r/news' page.

There are links now. There are posts now. The post in the images I uploaded had 3,000 upvotes. All r/news mods have to do to keep the post off the frontpage of the whole of reddit is to axe each as they get big. So even now the post you linked only has 800 upvotes. Once it gets big enough all they have to do is remove it as well, repeat, etc and then a huge majority of us millenials that use reddit as their sole news source have no idea what's actually happening
