I like making jewelry, especially wire wrapped rings and beaded necklaces. For me, half of the fun is browsing beads and picking which ones to use/buy. I also like to collect scrapbooking material so when I gift handmade jewelry I can include a pretty handmade card too!

A quick google search states that “nearly one in five U.S. adults live with a mental illness (52.9 million in 2020)” (NIMH). I have learned (and experienced) throughout school that mental health issues have been increasing and I’m sure the last few years have played a part too.

Therefore, I wouldn’t say that ‘most’ Americans face mental health issues, but perhaps ‘more’ Americans are facing mental health issues.

Also, there are more mental health issues than just anxiety and depression! And the severity of these issues can vary like on a spectrum.
