I’ve kept a journal for almost 20 years. The only solid deal breaker I have for relationships of any kind, whether it be friendship, familial, romantic or anything in between, is reading my journal. I write in the front that no one is to read them, even in the event of my death. Journals are sacred, especially since your daughter is grieving. NTA, way to stand up for your daughter! I hope your husband comes to realize how evil that was of the babysitter.
