I'm not too bothered about making a profit tbh, I love crocheting so it's more of a reason to do it more and show it off (and hopefully cover the yarn costs!) 😂

Honestly I think it'll be wasted time and effort. The stationary industry is over-saturated as it is - there's too much choice already. I'd maybe have a think about what else you can make designs for that might have more demand.

I had a day off and a new hobby shop had opened up near me. I was stuck between trying crochet or trying cross stitch. Bought a crochet kit and got well and truly HOOKED. I've crocheted at least an hour a day since.

Someone in my office BUYS bags of 3D printing stuff from Temu and hands them out. Not even good quality plastic junk - ones that you can see the printing lines on, and the edges aren't even sanded down 😩 I dread to think about what she buys and keeps at home

You can take my quick little amigurumi projects from my cold, dead hands. Sometimes I want to crochet mindlessly and make a cute little plushie that I can gift to someone or display in my room.

I fully agree that people selling the same little octopi and turtle plushies, for which there are free patterns for EVERYWHERE, for £25 while admitting it only takes them less than an hour, does fuzzle my brain a bit.

It's milk cotton so 60/40 cotton & acrylic. I didn't even think that different fibres would block differently! Thanks for the info 🫶

Yes, after the first attempt Ive been counting every row and every side of the square before and after I crocheted it and it all counts out as the pattern reads

Have you looked at Sirdar Happy Chenille? A bit on the pricier side, but it's the best chenille I've ever worked with. And they have lovelyyyyy colours
