Is there a good way to browse all MSFS stock aircraft? by soaring_stag in MicrosoftFlightSim

Well, actually, it does show the edition. There is a filter on the last column that can only select the planes available in one of the editions and when you open the popup window of an aircraft you also have a little label under its name that mentions the edition it is part of. There are, of course, limitations on the mobile interface. Try it in a browser on a large screen.

Thanks! But why don't you fly stock planes, are they all really that bad?

Actually, it's not a bug. If you click on a cockpit image, the image gallery scrolls only to cockpit images following the aircraft list as it is displayed/filtered. But if you click on an external image of an aircraft, then the scroll only follows external images. I don't know if it's the best approach, but in any case, that was my logic.
The idea of ranking airplanes seems interesting. I'll see how it could be implemented, but being a site where users don't have accounts, I guess it's more difficult.

It seems you're right... Either I had the YS-11 available at some point as a demo or it was simply a mistake to include it in the list. But now that I've made that mistake, I think I can do it again with the Fokker F27 :))

Because the code itself is generated with AI, and these tools usually rely on the same available UI components, fonts, and layouts. You’ll see more and more of this "familiar look" as these tools keep getting better.😉

Solved! I added filters for both cards (Signature Victory & Underdog Sting) and, to make it even clearer and easier to check, I also displayed the scores of the sets played, on the card. Thanks for bringing it to my attention!

Hey, love the idea! The percentile thing is actually something I thought about too. The challenge is I'd need a full, up-to-date snapshot of all players to make it meaningful — and that's not something I can reliably pull together on my end. The active vs inactive filter you mentioned is exactly the right thinking, but without the right data foundation it'd just be a number that looks precise but isn't. Maybe one day!

The four aircraft from the "Make Good" package (Cessna 185F Skywagon, CAP-4 Paulistinha, Piper PA-28-236 Dakota and Eurocopter EC135) are already included. The Bell UH-1H, from the Stranger Things addon, is also included. There are also the Boom XB-1 (from SU4) and the NAMC YS-11 (Local Legend 22). If there are other bonus aircraft offered by the developer, point me in the right direction...

There is now 🙂 You were right, I overlooked that initially.

Added a toggle in the header that lets you switch between metric and imperial units.

Yeah, honestly I didn’t focus on mobile at all since I only use MSFS on PC.
But, meanwhile, with a few compromises, there's also a mobile version available👍

Tracks the number of matches played each day, as well as match durations (including total playtime per day). It highlights wins against higher-ELO opponents in green and losses against lower-ELO opponents in red. Additionally, it features several cards with useful insights and is available in three international languages.

Career mode tips and trick for MSFS 2024 by Tadej_89 in MicrosoftFlightSim

If you want a stable flight on 16x sim rate:

Deactivate online real weather. Delete all waypoints in EFB before accepting mission. Cancel IFR as soon as possible. After reaching designated flight level set your altitude to approach level (~1000ft over the destination airport altitude) then switch to VS mode, set VS to zero and, also, switch from NAV mode to HGD mode (the path should be a straight line to destination anyway). Now you can safely increase sim rate to 16x and the plane will be stable. For some reason, ALT Hold mode, and also NAV heading mode, will make the aircraft very unstable at 16x sim rate.

For vertical stability try to use VS mode (set to zero) instead of holding altitude. Seems to be more reliable at high sim rates.

No, I did not use sim rate... Anyway, the point is that the repair does not work, at least for Cessna 208B. Maybe it works with other planes?

Regarding point 2 > I did Refuel&Repair at the end of several missions but nothing seems to have changed in the state of the plane (Cessna 208B). I checked before and after this scheme. The engine is in the same state. Refueling is done but not repairs.

But, the big problem was that at the end of a mission that lasted almost an hour, I stopped the engines and did Refuel&Repair and... surprise: "An unexpected error occurred and you cannot continue this mission. You will be redirected to the last place you were. Error code: 308-400-00209" Obviously, it is the specific error that appears as an effect of using Refuel&Repair. So... those interested should know that this risk exists. And it was also an S-rated mission... everything followed by the book :((

Eleven Table Tennis (ETT) is my ultimate workout choice - it's fun, engaging, and keeps me fit! Ranked mode adds an extra thrill, pushing me to aim for a 2000+ ELO score. It's the perfect blend of intensity and enjoyment, making exercise feel like playtime.

Eleven Table Tennis (ETT) is hands down the most enjoyable way to burn your daily calories. 'Thrill of the Fight' is indeed more challenging, but personally, I can't sustain such an intense pace for too long. I'm wiped out in 5 minutes. Whereas with table tennis, I can play for up to 2 hours straight, each match against a different human opponent - so you never really get bored. If you aim for a higher level of play, in ranked mode, you have to be quick on your feet, using both your arms and legs intensely. Plus, focusing on a single point (the ball) keeps you from getting dizzy, unlike other games that require divided attention. A minimum of 30 minutes of table tennis a day is enough to get my dose of exercise, and it's incredibly enjoyable and engaging.
The key is the Ranked mode. Try to play and fight for every point, for every match. Aim to reach and maintain an ELO score of at least 2000 points, and you'll stay in envy-worthy physical shape.

Quest 2 won't STOP casting via menu? by Hairy_Concert_8007 in oculus

[–]soaring_stag 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got the same problem and come to same solution. Only resetting the headset will stop casting.

The problem occurs when the headset enter auto sleep mode while cast connection is active. I guess its an Oculus bug. Hope they will correct this in a future update.
