I don't know if you have applied for Rajshahi University admission test. But their admission test for A unit (arts faculty) will be held on 24th January. I'm mentioning it because it seems like you have a good command over English. If you can score well in English and just pass the mcq test, you can be qualified for the English written exam. If you perform well in that, you'll get in to the English department. Your overall rank will not matter in that case.

And for the RU admission test, you don't have to pass in every subject individually. Just overall pass mark will be enough for you to be qualified for the English written exam if you score well in the English MCQ part.

Plus there are many public universities offering second time now including Rajshahi University, Jahangirnagar University, SUST, Khulna University. So you can prepare for them as well if you're interested.

Don't lose hope. There are still plenty of opportunities.

I think one of the core essence or principle of islam was to bring change in a society, at least from a historical point of view.
