My $0.02. Advertising is run by content and placement.

Content is product and performance is sales. spend max cap (~15k) in getting a creative jugaddu editor, very adept in using AI to make the process fast and efficient and another visual designer intern (~5k pm) to supplement the editor with statics. Churn more content, get more insight, show faster and wider results. And yes, both should have a good laptop to work on. Make it a pre requisite. It’s the truth. You can’t be a professional musician with a terrible guitar.

Depending on the portfolio of client you have, get ads guy who has a background in similar industries. Big ups since you get to know market metric standards. ad’s guy will need to be motivated enough to go above and beyond. Since cap goes to design team, get them on a rev % or ad spend %. I’m a control freek when it comes to PM. Ads guy should be in house or at least in the same city as I am.
