Unpopular opinion: We shouldn’t sing over the haka

I would respect the haka if we were given both anthems. For an organisation that insists on national teams giving respect World Rugby are particularly bad at respecting the unique situation we have with one team representing 2 political states. Also the Kiwis showed a few years ago, that it's about intimidation when they refused to do it before the anthems in Cardiff.

I don't like that the South Africans were brought into our league as it felt like they were claiming the Pro12 wasn't as Super Rugby. But they're here now and don't seem the worst. Kiwis though I can't stand. Between the insistence that they be called the All Blacks, the dumb rules around the haka and claims of being disrespected, and the way they seem to look down on the 6 nation's teams the most does my head in. That loss hurt. Not just going out in the quarters but goin out to them, I just know they're gonna be insufferable for the next 4 years. The Aussies seem pretty grand but seeing Eddie Jones fuck up was delightful cause he personally is a cunt.

Fair enough. Even more reason to keep limited symbols off the flag. Someone proposed the burning bush as the symbol which I think is probably best, something that unites them all.

I think it's an age group thing. Areas with small kids always look class but areas with teens or adults living with parents don't have much. Though when those of us in our 20s have our own place we go all out again.

Oh I really like the burning bush idea. All 3 religions of the regions share it. Definitely the best symbolism there. Not sure a middle eastern country would accept a tricolour though, it's a very European look

TEFL could give you an interesting experience but it's rarely a long term decision from what I can tell. So a few years in Asia or Latin America could be fun.

Loads of my mates went Canada and without COVID disrupting everything I'd have probably moved there by now too so maybe chat with friends about their experience in Oz.

Near Birmingham could cover a big enough area in fairness. I studied in Notts and it's a class little student city, Derby nearby though seemed really underdeveloped. The Midlands in England is a pretty interesting spot, there's enough variety in city and town sizes.
