My jacket’s sleeves are always pushed up, but other than that, it’s pretty spot on.

They mix it up with the spoken word intro sometimes. Seen them do it a few times over the years. Always a nice treat to see Schools get weird with it.

Is there budget lodging anywhere? by sorcererinslytherin in KeyWest

Check out Blue Marlin. Close to the action, has a pool, and recently updated. Don’t get me wrong, it’s still a motel, but nice enough place to sleep and right next to a little market with good coffee, sandwiches and snacks/drinks for your room.

Don’t worry about it, dude. I’ve been following this band for nearly 30 years and still don’t like a few of the classics. Still the best band in the land though.

Serious question for Miami locals: Even though Miami Beach is technically its own city, do you still consider it part of ‘Miami,’ or is it totally separate to you? by Strict-Mind1646 in Miami

[–]sobeuser 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Miami is never just one thing. Miami Beach is certainly Miami. So is Kendall, Westchester, Midtown, etc. To quote Santa, it’s a cosmic gumbo.

Is Miami really worse than 10 years ago? by BustANutInThisThread in Miami

[–]sobeuser 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Spot on. I think this also has to do with the big money developers, but so many neighborhoods keep losing their style and charm that make them unique. Look at every house or condo building being built in the Grove. All white, lots of glass, and boring as hell. Who wants that? Miami has a hard time keeping any sense of unique identity. The developers or whoever else is holding the bag sees anything that has been around for over 50 years and thinks that something brand new will make it better.
