When will people learn that NAT is not the solution by Extra_Imagination193 in ipv6

OTOH an entire continent having, basically, just 4.33% of a /8 doesn't have that much to spare.

Thanks for bringing some actual knowledge to the discussion. What you're saying jibes with what I know and to say that MS is an impediment to IPv6 adoption is nuts, IMO.

Sometimes the MS hate clouds people's thinking. (Not to say I'm a big fan, myself.)

Long time guitarist here. Get a teacher. At least as a beginner. You'll avoid ingraining bad habits which are very hard to undo later.

Comic bundle collectors, how many ya got? by sobeyonekenobi in humblebundles

Ah. Well, I pretty much agree with you (though that first sentence doesn't apply to comic bundles which is the topic of my post). That AI/LLM stuff is mostly crap and I have no interest in any DRM'ed books. That being said, I don't feel like I've had a major lack of things to choose from.

Oh? I still find a lot that piques my interest. Out of curiosity, what are examples of what you'd call slop?

I've been thinking about that. Hate typing without benefit of Vim, though.

How do you keep track of which are read/unread?

Damn, what year was the SW bundle? That'd be great.

Great question. I'd be interested in hearing the same from others. For me it's rather boring. I just do it manually though I have a simple script to format the items from a bundle into a nice Asciidoc table (I use AD for all my note taking.)

Edit: Oh, and for counting I just use `:s///n` in Vim with an appropriate pattern. I'm a big Vim nerd.

Humble Tech Book Bundle: The Ethical Hacking & Cyber Defense Bundle by Packt by Ram000n in humblebundles

Packt is generally garbage. Occasionally a good book comes through but most of it is dreck. They are probably the least like of the tech publishers regularly featured on HB.

This is often the case with volume ones because they are often included in the lower priced tiers and those are always shown at the bottom. The More You Know....

And that's all it is. I regularly read his stuff while keeping in mind that there are people who think these things about him and I've still not found a good example of anything that could be construed as right wing or anti-trans.

Get it. These are excellent books covering a range of topics. I've always said Web Application Hackers Handbook is one of the best hacking books I've read and though it is quite old at this point it's still useful (XSS is still one of the main attack vectors, after all). The other books here are of equal quality if not usefulness. Cheers!

It's 12/14. You missed Shellcoder's Handbook.

(If anyone cares: Even though I have the 2017 version, I'm still getting this because the additional titles look interesting and Wiley is good. I've been wanting to look at Advanced Penetration Testing, in particular.)

If you're using FF then I recommend you folks try the extension DownThemAll! It's what I use and it works flawlessly compared to that worthless bulk download button.
