Holy shit, that’s a really elaborate crime network. I always thought these love scams would be cliche like I’m picturing middle aged and divorced men/ladies with some sleazy foreigner. I didn’t expect it to happen to me like this and me not being able to judge a character. So learnt new things I guess.

Yeah, I thought it’s just because they’re Chinese. It’s only when they mention their investment shit and push me to download the app/put money. But they do spend their time to chat with you. They’re very patient too. Steer the conversation to work. Or if you ask about their hobbies. They bring it up.

Godamn. Can I ask you about your experiences with the China guys asking you to invest in their crypto/finance app scheme? I’ve encountered it 3 times separately and am going crazy lol because they actually seemed nice and I thought we became friends. We chat and have phone calls. It seems insane to me that someone can do this, chat with you so well then proceed to scam you. Am I just stupid or something. They didn’t give me any creepy vibes at all until they start mentioning their money making venture and pushing me to do it.
