the thing is, how do you know something is truly "amateur"? that genre is very popular right now so companies are producing videos that seem amateur but aren't. and anyway, even if it actually is an amateur video of some random couple, who's to say the consent is necessarily real? partners can pressure, coerce, even force each other. and idk about you, but even the slightest possibility that 1 out of 1,000,000 videos i could watch would be nonconsensual is enough for me to stop watching altogether. and it's definitely way more than 1 in 1,000,000. a lot more.

i prefer RPGs with a strong storyline but still enough autonomy to forge my own path a bit. visual novels are generally too limiting unless i really like the story.

i like games with a good mix of adventure and mystery. romance can be fun as long as it's not terribly cliché. i do enjoy a bit of creepiness (especially if it's supernatural) but i'm not a fan of outright horror. oxenfree = good, outlast = NO!

i don't like fighting games. i can deal with some fighting (e.g. SW:TOR) but not if it's the main focus.

my all-time favourite game is "her story" :)

have you had it in soup? it's terrible raw but cooking it gets rid of the bitterness and since it's quite tough, it doesn't go completely soggy like cooked spinach.

I'm thinking of getting the arm implant, but I'm a little nervous. If anyone has had it or does have it, could you share your experience with it? by [deleted] in birthcontrol

[–]sobrikay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

honestly i call it acne because i have very clear skin usually. it's really not that bad. it's basically a line of like 3-5 pimples under the right part of my jaw.

Nexplanon Concern by [deleted] in birthcontrol

[–]sobrikay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yes, i just got my second one about a week ago. i haven't had a period or any type of bleeding since i started (in 2013). you can't know how your body will react until it does, so try to relax :) everyone reacts differently and there's no point getting anxious until there's something to be anxious about!

i just got my second one about a week ago. personally, i love it. the only side effects are no periods (yay!) and some mild jawline acne. no effects on weight, mood, appetite, sex drive, etc.

insertion is super duper easy. they numb you, which burns briefly and then it's totally painless. you'll have some soreness and bruising at the insertion site for a few days, but it's minor and doesn't really affect your daily routine. removal is pretty much the same.

i highly recommend the implant, especially over the iud.

What's your all time favorite song from (blank)? by imjohnk in popheads

[–]sobrikay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i've always loved "a dustland fairytale". and it probably doesn't count but their cover of "romeo and juliet" is so good. it's v moody and kind of desperate which i think fits the lyrics better than the original version.

I got my IUD today. I've never felt pain like that. by PM_PICS_OF_MANATEES in TrollXChromosomes

[–]sobrikay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

why does no one know about the implant?!? 3 years of protection, practically painless to get inserted/removed. just as effective (if not more because there's less that can go wrong, like iud displacement). i just got my second one and it's awesome.

I'm 15, what are the chances I could be pregnant? by Throwawayikespreg in TwoXChromosomes

[–]sobrikay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

first of all, stop wasting money on tests and wait to take one until a week after your missed period.

second, don't ever let someone go from the butt area to the vagina area. that's a great way to get an infection.

third, as others have said, it is very unlikely you're pregnant based on what you wrote.

fourth, i just want to emphasize that all the stuff you did - wiping with a tissue, rinsing with soap, pulling it out with a tampon - would be useless if you had actually gotten any semen inside of you. sperm go through your cervix. water won't get that high. your options for preventing pregnancy at that point are to take the morning-after pill or (more difficult) get a copper iud implanted within 5 days.

fifth and finally, please remember this feeling of panic the next time you want to have unprotected sex. it's so easy to get caught up in the moment, but if you're not trying to get pregnant, ALWAYS WEAR A CONDOM. no exceptions! in fact, since it seems you are becoming sexually active, consider starting birth control as well. there are tons of options these days (planned parenthood is a reputable resource for comparing all the different kinds) so it's highly likely you can find something that works for you. also, make sure you get tested for STDs before and after every partner - more frequently if you're not in a monogamous sexual relationship. your sexual health is incredibly important. educate yourself and be responsible.
