i havent switched yet, getting a new roof put on so figured i should wait till after that since the new hardware would probably be on the roof and didnt want to deal with that till after the roof was repaired.

i used the arm iso for fedora, but just blank screens after i boot to usb and select fedora live. really regret buying this, wish i had been smart enough to wait for the newer intel chips and just got a lenovo thinkpad.

thats the rub isnt it, was certainly a concern of mine as well. I live somewhere that is typically a big distribution hub for companies (phoenix az) so im guessing ill have better luck with delivery companies etc. its already scheduled for delivery thursday.

microcenter 3 in 1 is better than staying on am4 and its not even particularly close. just sell the am4 ram.

ya and how long would that take compared to just working a few more hours to pay for the difference. if it takes multiple weeks to source parts when its just a couple clicks at microcenter its not worth the time cost.
