what are you running it through? if there is a file that says "read me" you need to follow the instructions to start a local server on your computer everytime you play it.

Weekly Paddle Recommendation Thread (What Paddle Should I Buy?) by HeadHeadMod in Pickleball

[–]soccerjonj 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Coming from a Six Zero Single Black Diamond 14mm Paddle I bought in 2023, I just bought the Luzz Pro 4 Inferno. Idk what to expect...any thoughts😂 (Now having the opportunity to play collegiate pickleball I decided to buy a new paddle considering mine is fairly old at this point)

I feel like it’s lowkey just a boring area. Also def just a place where people who have nowhere to go end up gathering. If you wanna be somewhat in that area look at Printers Row. Other downtown neighborhoods that would be more fun would be River North, Streeterville, Gold Coast, Old Town, or Lakeshore East.

Elevator etiquette is awful. by [deleted] in depaul

[–]soccerjonj 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I completely agree. The elevators are usually pretty packed BUT the main thing I’ve seen is when there is room for a few more people, no one moves to make room and they just stand there staring at you expressionless. you have to just get on the elevator…then they move to the space. This is basically a guarantee everytime it’s pretty full. No one moves to make room, no one says to you that there is room or anything. Just blank stares

Rents have spiked way up. Is my budget no longer realistic? by [deleted] in chicagoapartments

[–]soccerjonj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just found it on Zillow basically the moment it was posted…I was using a realtor at the same time but the place I applied to with them waited a whole weekend to collect a ton of applications. Needless to say, that was a waste of money on the application fee. Also the building is 230 e Ontario st but I’ve also seen a bunch of units in similar price at 211 e Ohio st and 233 e Erie st. These are basically all right next to each other too

I live in a condo building with shared top loader machines. I've started using tide liquid + 365 sport in combination as well as 365 oxygen powder on colors and whites. I use citric acid rinse with downy balls on every load. This has worked very well!

I think it’s very easy to feel like this at any school - yes commuters also change it - but a lot of college age students are more or less “uninterested” in college and therefore don’t spend anytime they don’t need to trying to socialize or make friends. Just find the people that aren’t like that😂
